from one of the above posts, i get the impression that anti-indian sentiments were rising by around 1977, just 6 years after your independence
please explain this phenomenon
Actually anti india sentiment was brewing just after independence . after liberation indian soldiers took away every military hardware and and household equipments from cantonment by truck . people were just have to watch there were no way to protect or protect . the major abdul jalil protested this and was arrested and became the fast raj bondhi . this was the turning point . and after liberation they start farraka barrage as 'test' but their 'test' never ended . India tried to made us their subordinate country which was not the people dream.more importently we knew it is india who is going to be the main problem of independent bangladesh .during liberation war one sector commander were asking his fellow freedom fighter ''do you know who is going to be the main threat/problem for Bangladesh ? the fighter war mum ,them kicking the mud the commander told india india is going to be the biggest threat for bangladesh ''. this is the reality in short . thanks
