I don't know if Pak army was fighting a war inside Afghanistan with on duty men with equipment. Never heard of it. But yes , Pak army still doing all its covert operation inside Afghanistan against TTP etc.

Ask the locals, about that year and they will say that, they were told not to come out of their homes at a certain time of the day, but they heard the rumbling of tanks and foot soliders heading back.
