Last month Saudis were talking to India about defence co-operation. They could not convince India to stop buying Iranian oil.

I hope that we are not given a candy to stop the construction of IP gas pipeline or this is another attempt to persuade Pakistan to un-block NATO supply lines.

If Americans couldn't persuade us to quit IP(C) pipeline, what makes you think anyone else will?

At least 24 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom and scores others sustained injuries in NATO attack on check posts near Afghan border on Saturday.

The Defence Committee of the Cabinet had decided to close NATO supply lines with immediate effect and ordered the US to vacate the Shamsi Airbase within 15 days.

I'm not agreeing nor disagreeing with the possibility that UAE pressured Pakistan to keep American presence in the Shamsi airbase, however reputable Pakistan English newspapers have reported that UAE did in fact pressure Pakistan to extend the deadline.

We want less interference in our internal affairs and we don't need others to dictate to us our foreign policy, whether they be Americans, NATO, or Arabs.

Do we dictate to Saudis who they should make defence deals with? The answer is pretty obvious.

Heck, you guys have excellent and cordial ties with india, you sell them plenty of oil, do we tell you not to?

The same way you should not dictate to us, its called respect, its a two way street.
