this kind of thread and some though from the BD so called academician made some Countries in ASEAN very wary especially (Indonesia) to conclude the exact foreign policy for Rohingyas plight. Since the case of Crimean peninsulas in which Russian had taken from Ukraine forcibly, came on you just cant into other your neighbor territories and claims them from whatever historical narration you had meanwhile International communities acknowledge those area is belong to someone else.
Unless you want an endless war, there should be a boundary and limits you should not crossed....
Not to mention the war between two least developed Countries rarely ending well
It is a very small strip of land adjacent to the coast. Rest of the Arakan are just unpenetrable rouge mountain which separates itself from the mainland Burma. That is the main reason Arakan maintained independence from the Burmese king for most of its ancient history with the help of Bengal kingdom. Bengal had no interest of that piece of land for the last 5000 years despite being our neighbor. But Arakan has a strong Indic cultural bonding. I am sure if given opportunity both the community in Arakan can make peace if Burmese stays out of it.China better stay away with it. if BD and Myanmar want to fight, just do it. We will stay neutral. I'm not sure whether the minorities armed force in the North of Myanmar will stay neutral or not.
And most importantly, maybe some neighbour in the adjacent west will come in to fish in trouble water.
鱼蚌相争,渔翁得利。Chinese old saying: A third party will benefit from the tussle.
I don't want to offend anyone. no one is really care about Rohinyas, all they care is the land Arakan and regional influence. I think Myanmar shall give citizenship to those non- seperatists Rohinyas willing to stay and treat them like a ethnic minorities.
Burmese army is pushing too hard in this matter, hope they can realize before it's too late.It is a very small strip of land adjacent to the coast. You can just open a google map and see the geography and the current road infrastructure which will give you some very good idea.
Burmese army is using one community over another. They know they are very vulnerable in Arakan.Burmese army is pushing too hard in this matter, hope they can realize before it's too late.
I'm very worrying India's position in the BD-Myanmar conflicts. Any hanky-panky will be detrimental.Burmese army is using one community over another. They know they are very vulnerable in Arakan.
I think you will do something real bad.Bangladesh and Russia? Not an apt comparison.
Bangladesh will be smacked hard by Myanmar and India for any hanky panky they do.

@Nilgiri If BD and Myanmar gonna have a war, what your plan?
What's united nation/international community's stance on the belonging of land of Arakan?
Can you?well Burma did help us in the 1971 War
should we reciprocate?
you answered my question with another question...........Can you?
After lifting of western sanction,Burmese have became more rogue and snobbish in attitude.persecution of ethnic Chinese minority and forcing them to become refugee is a testament of this trend.Perhaps they are thinking,China will not react to the criminal action of the newest little darling of the west. That's why they are trying to bite the hand which fed them until now and still feeding.Time to put some sanity on them. Also they push too hard on the north frontier, there will be a bouncing back.
