Are Small and Homogeneous States More Prosperous?

any link of video of any such seminar

You tried repeatedly but were deterred due to India's superior conventional strength. If India is balkanized, you may be able to defeat a smaller portion of it.

okay got it. Yes, that pantheism is closer to Hindu philosophy.
so you are basically together cause you fear China (honestly just some northern parts that re not even part of your msm conscious lets be honest) and Pak would do stuff to y'all if y'all are smaller...
honestly you have more chances of big states dominating smaller states than a foreign country doing anything (except for in border areas)

2- Kashmir is still going on and will further pick up in couple of years compare that to other Indian rebellions (like Khalistan etc) - they were easier to handle than Kashmir - there's a fundamental issue here and basically proves my point

if some day China decides north east would also easily catch fire

Plenty of stuff available on Google regarding this. This isn't a novel idea that I'm proposing, it's been discussed in detail on various forums from media to politicians to independent seminars.
This idea I have only heard from Pakistanis and never from any Indian. If you have proof of sizable or prominent Indians advocating it, then please provide.

Why are you getting on worked up and trying to coax India's balkanization. India is happy with being united. You get divided if you want.

"South India, with stable population growth, is not getting enough because population is a prominent criterion for the devolution of central taxes, he said.

“Historically, the South has been subsidising the north,” the post read. “Six states south of the Vindhyas contribute more taxes and get less. For example, for every one rupee of tax contributed by Uttar Pradesh that state receives Rs 1.79. For every one rupee of tax contributed by Karnataka, the state receives Rs 0.47.”"

This issue of North having more population and hence getting more seats in parliament while South getting punished for the same will further aggravate when next delimitation of constituencies occurs, increasing this gap further.

It is a moral dilemma though. Increase seats of UP, Bihar etc and you respect One Person One Vote but at the same time the political destiny of India goes further away from hands of the South.

In some distant future, Dravidanadu might become a reality. This idea is only going to get stronger.

A country can be compared to a business and the various models used to run it. The OP thread question can be rephrased as, "Are small mom and pop corner shops or family owned businesses better than multinational corporations?". The answer to this question is, like the answer to many questions.... It depends

I would argue that Balochistan can become even more prosperous
Countries with most natural resources, in may cases the are the counteries which are the poorest. With eyes of the world on their resources their leaders are easy sell-outs. On the other hand counteries with least natural resources spend money on the only natural resource they have... their manpower

He is wishing for an autonomy, not independence.
However, every southern state have certain issues with one another. It is unlikely that southern states would ever bind together to form any such coalition.

Right now, all border areas are in North India, whereas southern India is well protected by North and the coastline and can progress peacefully.
If it separates to form another nation, it will have to deal with the border with North India which would eat up a lot of its resources.

Will a small and prosperous nation like Bangledesh be allowed to exist once India has taken care of its Pakistan problem?

that's why balkanization of India is more important.
While India has exploited every fault line (religious and ethnic) possible within the Pakistani society, what have the Pakistani intelligence agencies done? We even gave up the names of Khalistani separatists to please India

We could have accelerated the process but the fault lines are clearly still there and even more prominent during the BJP rule. It's inevitable whether we do something about it or not.

If India had to gobble BD, then 1971 was the opportune time. Why would India try to take an unwilling population when we reap the benefits of good friendship with BD?
