Pakistan is maturing and developing in the right direction. From the military government of Musharraf in 2000-2007, to the current democratic government now. I am not saying that the current government in Pakistan is 'perfect', but it definitely has a lot more transparency than the one when Musharraf was in power. There was no judicial independence during that time, and the Army was practically in control. Now, the current government government and is a Civil Government.
Pakistan's democracy is rather young, in practical modern sense. But she has accomplished so much since representative and participatory democracy was reestablished in the country. I mean its just been what? 8 years? So far, so good. I am very, very , very optimistic about Pakistan's development and political maturity in the next 2-3 decades.
I have so much hopes for this beautiful nation.
To some Pakistani members who always want the military to be in charge due to their affiliation, the above post should be another eye opener as to how your internal affairs are deemed across the ocean. Our respected member from the above post, is sitting in Japan, but as you can see, he and others reading this elsewhere, have TOTAL command over Pakistan's situation, military vs. civilian rule and benefits of democracy and what it brings to the entire country, aka, a better and safer future, and a growing economy. The answer to all Pakistan's internal issues was a democratic system that produces. There is one now and the globe knows that its producing much better than anything since the birth of Pakistan.
But thank you for such insightful posts and wishes for the Pakistani nation @Nihonjin1051 . I am sure folks reading these would appreciate it.
@Horus @Oscar @Jango : will one of you please give positive ratings to our respected Japanese member? I don't have the authority....
