Not a fan of Ganjas but Idiot Khan is the scum who brought politics in cricket. He didn't allow any player on the team whom he disliked. He couldn't even tolerate other players outshining him.

In one match, this wretched racist declared the innings while Miandad was close to a triple century.

Blaming Imran Khan would be far-fetched, but Pakistan getting stuck on the past and its admiration by emulating the past is not going to help Pakistan cricket in the long run. Imran Khan repeatedly said he doesn't follow cricket anymore, yet media asks him questions in relation to cricket, although Imran khan can end this by stating "No Comment" on cricket instead of voicing his opinions on cricket including his pro-Younus khan statements are not helping Pakistan cricket at all.

Checkout the patterns:

PCB was influenced by the opinion of Imran Khan to replace Shoaib Malik as one-down specialist who was doing well in limited formats by outdated batsman, Younus Khan - to this day, still horrible in limited format.

PCB selected Danish Kaneria for ODI WC 2007 based on his opinions even though Danish Kaneria was horrible in limited format.

Because of his love for Pukhtoons, PCB had to tolerate the mediocrity of players like Younus Khan, Shahid Afridi given his support for them. Pakistan cricket is paying big price now.

The issue here is the total lack of answers by the PCB added by frankly uncomprehendable logic by the people in power in Government. The information minister would be better served doing his job which he is paid to do.

He blamed PTI chief for Pakistan team’s back to back defeats in the World Cup against India and West Indies.

The minister further said that the destruction of the game started when World Cup 1992 winning team skipper left cricket.

I do not even know what to say to this logic. By 1999 we had a great team and many were nurtured by Imran and other greats in the era before. The issue is basically a disregard for local talent and a run for money by the board today.
