What's new

Another Captain Martyred in Awaaran, Balochistan

When you will become general we will see how much such deaths you are going to stop.

I won't accept unprofessional extension like Bajwa if I can't stop these deaths

That is at least something I can do unlike Bajwa
The taliban will help him - maybe he’ll make all PA surrender and no more blasts? That will be one way.
@PanzerKiel use it or lose it going on from the endangered handlers?

Or we can surrender PA to your personal favorite "naraz baloch" and make an azad Balochistan

I am sure you won't have a problem with that

Until when these military men will keep losing their lives due to political lack of willingness to launch operation against Balochi terrorism?

We must flood these areas with Madrassas to defeat these communist terrorists. Religious leaders born from there will take on these communists and Sardar system. Divide and rule

Pakistan’s ideological foundation is religion(Islam) so we must bring change to take on these secular nationalist balochs, they will act as agents of national cohesion.

This will never stop. More soliders will lose their life. People sat at the top have no real impact on this conflict.

On this again

Jamat ul dawa was going great work in Balochistan before they were banned. We need such organizations that believe in Pakistan state yet they can use religion to bring people together.

Old article but Baloch seperatists were truly sacred of his influence in Balochistan

Hafiz Saeed threatening Baloch people under Pak's patronage: Munir Mengal

The head of Jamat-ud- Dawa Hafiz Saeed, roaming inside Balochistan preaching hate speeches and threatening the local secular people. Hafiz is using the religious terrorist organisations against the Baloch Nationalist Force who are struggling against annexation of their land to an Islamic state without their consent."

Yes IED are tough to defend against but at least provide a mrap so soldiers at least have a chance of surviving rather than no chance.Just today top brass from Balochistan and Army paid a visit to the injured Chinese in Balochistan, But no one seems to care about the endless brave men we loose.Such Sad state of affairs.

This is what pisses me off clear negligence

FFS. There always has been an increase in attack after major ops, we have forgotten. When hideouts and havens and their associated networks are threatened its quite normal for orders to go to out to hit everything since the support network will be lost soon.
Change in Afghanistan has upset their bases and networks.

These communists are the biggest dangers to our society, they are termites eating our country. Hell even TTP has no separatist tendency.

Look at PTM as well. These comrades reject the idea of Islamic Republic of Pakistan being formed on the basis of religion

Turkey’s indigenous technologies - MRAPs, IED detection radars, attack choppers, drones of all sorts (minuscule to humongous) carrying advanced imaging and minintiarized ammos & bullets etc. - have been saving lives of the soldiers and pushing PKK/YPG, supported by the NATO/EU/KSA/UAE etc., to oblivion! Now, these terrorist scums and bastards can’t dare to go out even to pee as ops are being carried out 24/7!!! And, I am talking about the harsh mountainous regions (with vegetation, canyons, caves etc.) of the Northern Irak….

I agree we should teach islam and Islamic unity in schools everywhere in Pakistan and open madressas state funded madressas which teach Islam properly everywhere in Pakistan.
If we teach islam properly to people im Balochistan and tribal areas there will be no ttp bla or blf

Exactly yet we still use Toyota pickup yes I know we can't provide mraps to everyone but at least provide them to those who are in hotzones like ffs SSW has mraps for protecting paf air bases is someone gonna lob a bloody IED at a mrap what idiots do we have for planners

Equal and proportionate response in the sub-conventional domain has become critical. We should discuss the reasons why Pakistan is not pursuing this policy using elements that ensure plausible deniability? Has our standing been compromised by successful hostile lobbying to an extent where plausible deniability for covert actions is exceptionally difficult? If so, what are our options to overcome the constraints we have been put under? Could an aggressive diplomatic campaign that aims at eroding India's benign credentials by plainly calls every act of terrorism in Pakistan an attack by the Indian state create space for tit for tat where the international community decouples proxy conflict from Pakistani state patronage for Islamist militancy?

I have already written on this forum on the opportunities for reimagining armed insurrection in the nationalist colors instead of religious ones for the world community to turn a blind eye towards Pakistani covert operations in India. That could be another avenue that gets the job done with little to no adverse ramifications for Pakistan.

All of us here could agree that this could not go on for much longer. The Chinese diplomatic statement yesterday shows the frustration of the Chinese side with the Pakistani security establishment. We are making promises we could not deliver upon. We do not have the capacity: intelligence, or security. Much time was wasted trumpeting victory declarations against terrorism instead of using the time of relative peace for undertaking capacity building and reform in sec/intel setup.

Is it time to deter the foe by acting on its soil?

That was tried and the result was the radicalization of Brahui belt. ISIS/ISKP, LeJ (later a part of ISIS, now back to AQ linked TTP fold) found a foothold in the region and we saw repeated bloodbaths being aimed at Shias in general and Hazaras in particular in Balochistan. Even after suffering at the hands of religion-inspired terrorism for 2 decades why should we go back to the same failed strategy? Is it not the very definition of insanity? Instead of shooting ourselves in the feet by espousing self-defeating ideas, we must demand meaningful reform of the security and intelligence apparatus in Balochistan. Why have we not been able to infiltrate into Baloch secessionist outfits? The current wave of insurgency dates back to the early 2000s in Balochistan. Why have we still not been able to do what Indians have done in Kashmir? In my humble view, Balochistan has not been the priority of the Pakistani public. Most people can't even name two cities of Balochistan. Many think Quetta is in KPK (not going at a tangent, just showcasing the aloofness of the public). Let us talk about the elephant in the room i.e. missing state capacity to address the security challenges in Balochistan. Talking about these things is unsexy, but at the end of the day, these deliver results and make communities safer.
