Another blunder of Experienced Govt: Most expansive solar power project

Regardless of what plant you set up, your cost will be very high in Pakistan, for the reasons i have mentioned.

If your Immi Khan can do a better job, so be it. So you would rather not have electric power than have expensive power?

Yup. Sounds like an ignorant PTian to me.

O bhai, going all guns without bothering to watch the video?? Keep going and keep calling names, I don't give a flying fk. Now quote me when you've watched the video in OP and have something to discuss regarding this specific project.

I've watched the video. Happy now? Does that change the fact that you have some serious ignorance issues?

Bahawalpur solar plant is giving electricity at 17 Rupees/unit ..while same chinese company is providing solar power in different tropical countries at 11 ...

Eventhough bahawalpur is most suitable for solar stations where it produce more energy ... It should have been at max 8 rupees/unit

Oh damn electricity rate of Rs 14.85 :o: per unit is ridiculous rates, energy produced by solar power plants are not this much costly

and others, Solar power is expensive in the beginning but costs go down considerably in a very short time..

there could be many more option. the problem is not just the rate . U know they have given it a company who has no solar power project experience . it is a telecom company .

In a loose sense they are the same. The sun is communicating with earth through energy and this company is receiving the sun's communication signals.

There is nothing wrong to think out of the box if there is huge money to be made. Specially in third world countries.

Ok, kuch aatma ko shanti mili? Or you still feel like going gaga after evil PTI supporters without making any sense whatsoever?

The thread was specifically about this solar project, video talked about NEPRA document that proved that the project is way too expansive than normal, the cost will increase over the years and finally NEPRA document says this money should have been spent on better energy options. Got my point, sir?

well information minister he comes up with most stupid excuses to defend government ,. no offence i was just saying that about your funny reply .

None taken. I know how these things work in third world countries, and hence my reply. Chill.

Ye solar, wind sb ameeron ki shashke hain .... Sedha trha paani aur koyle pr guzara krna chahiye....

why not take electricity from india man we have shut down two thermal plant in punjab india due to no demand , also half of work is already done for supplt to pakistan
You need transmission lines , costly . Also you never know when india is gonna throw the spanner in the works. Better to invest in our own plants , have coal at thar . Plus gas pipeline from iran shiuld be a priority

India isn't a reliable source for something as vital as electricity. You can never be that much dependant on a hostile nation. Best thing Pakistan could do is to invest in her own projects. Though, an appreciable gesture.
