Mohmand is a Pakistani/Afghan tribe with a large section of members in Afghanistan while some are in Mohmand agency. It is more worrying that some of our own countrymen can be traitors to state and people unfortunately. The durand line is indeed the border and is recognized by not just "Punjabis" but by Pakistani Pashtuns as well. It was the partition of Pakhtunkhwa. After that event and from there our histories diverged. Pashtuns on this side of the durand line thenceforth worked to create a united Pakistan while the northern pashtuns were fed propaganda that the lar pashtuns were waiting for them with open arms. Bacha Khan further reinforced this ideal.

Its fiction based on the situation in FATA. It outlines the problems and the failure of our government to deal with a major insurgency which could have been stopped earlier. But it is fiction so it does so in a manner that tells a story. I explain the background and how militant groups actually found root in these regions. The injustice, the oppression, the lawlessness of FATA, the failure to merge it and bring it at par with other regions, rampant unemployment and literacy, the problems, everything.

As the people of another typical Afghan forum made me feel I still have to increase personal contact with Pashtuns, not those sitting on the net typing away but with original pashtuns. I also have to improve my Pashto and even come to the point where I can tell the difference between dialect.

Abdali was a great man he saw beyond the petty issues that today's Afghans cling to. He was a helper to the ancestors of those who reside in modern day Pakistan.

O.K i have confirmed it from some relevant people, this mashal dude is originally from mardan, kpk.

I just went through some of his videos on youtube and i noticed he is also creating videos on history of pashtuns, saw one about Islam Shah Suri and i have to say it was a good study. I have to appreciate him for that, as very few people from Afghanistan and Pakistan bothers about Pashtun history. Youtube is a good medium but i myself prefer traditional approach of writting the articles, you have to cite references and sources for your stuff.

I have noticed that every Afghan government only invites and give protocol to pashtun ethnic nationalists from Pakistan. You must have noticed Ghani only invited Asfandyar, Achakzai and sherpao. This is stupidity, Afghans have to move beyond 50s politics and diplomacy. Morover pashtun nationalists of pakistan are not exactly sincere and honest to afghanistan either, just opportunistic double-faced bunch......afghans dont realize ground realities because of them

Just watched first 13 min, nothing unsual. We have heard similar things from hindus/Indians. Pakistan was formed in other people land, yep we all pooped out of it in 47. No way any Pakistani can refute this claim

My question is that why do Afghan nationalists go around slapping that picture of Abdali when talking crap about Pakistan? It doesn't help their point, it actually reinforces the Pak-Afghan brotherhood aspect, or at least whats left of it.
