the project of 16 17 18 19 all started at least 10 years ago,

when first we bought the 16 from Ukrain, we bought the blueprint of this class as well, when we started to reinstall the 16, we start to built the 17 at same time.

the 17 will enter the water 2015, but will need a period to outfit deck and accommodation and sea trial. not sure when will come official admitting news.

一年是不现实的，2018年能下水就不错了。服役不会早于2020.

Before year 2025, CHina will have at least 6 carriers in service. 2 of them are conventional and the other four are nuclear propelled.

We need another 10 years to make this giant a super power.

I think the fastest built nuclear carrier by the U.S. was 2 years from keel laid down to launching the carrier. But since we only have one shipyard meant to built carriers and we are not at war, no need to build it fast. During the Cold War it was kind of fast, about 3 to 5 years avg. per Nimitz carrier. And also the Ford is a new ship with new technologies.

But you guys have decades of experience in such warship making and also have real war experience.China is still towing with a floating casino.Their experience with ACC is much less than any other navy.

Recently I have read an experience of a US naval pilot.It was about the challenges he faced in operating a fighter during adverse sea conditions.And you should count decades of such practices,training of US Navy and they met with a lot of accidents also.

Of course with your current manufacturing capability you can build up a lot of ACC.But nothing cant substitute the real time experiences.

That is only one .We have another one in construction where our Naval Design bureau is using decades of experience for its construction.It is not about the size our source.But its usefulness in an able hand.

No .We dont underestimate the Chinese.And Chinese are very good in development and also manufacturing field.Actually we appreciate that.
But Naval capability is entire other thing.
And when it comes Navy Western nations especially UK and US are miles ahead than their Asian compatriots.We should agrre that fact.
Perhaps your PLAN knows that very well ,after all they spend a few years in Lioening .
Chunking out of ACC will not close the gap with US.
At least you should use your ACC for real time experience.

Indian Navy have enough knowledge with ACC .But even that is not enough when it comes to US or UK.
