Yes we do have a domestic T20 tournament, infact it was us who started a T20 domestic competition in this region. I can guarantee you when the time comes we have more than enough enterpreneurs in this country who could happily buy franchises. After all its another way of making money.

We MUST participate to counter Indians move to isolate Pakistan. IMO Winning a tournament is better than to boycott just like we slaped our rivals with our performace by crowning T20.

Please refrain from using racial slurs, and honestly, beating us in a warm up match is nothing to be proud of..

Anyways, I think missing out on the rights to host matches in Pakistan for this world cup is a big blow to us, imagine all the Pakistani fans and foreign fans who would be watching the games, imagine the whole country being in that world cup "flow", we would benefit so much from it, we need more tournaments and occasions like these in Pakistan, it's good for the country and people.
On the other hand, I think our government f*cked it up when the Sri lankan team visited us, the security should've been tighter.
Perhaps this world cup comes at a wrong moment for our country, especially with the Taliban seeking every opportunity to cause mayhem and deaths.
I just hope that somehow the 14 matches can still take place in our country, with extreme security measures, and when everything goes smoothly, we'll come out stronger than before.

All this bullsh!t talk about Pakistan being unsafe is ofcourse supported by the Indians, and the BCCI, well they can go to hell, people are trying to corner the nation, won't work.
Instead of giving us a chance to set things straight, they are keen to hammer on the past and the misfortunes.

They could have postponed the IPL, what If the worlcup was due in those similar dates? You are entitled to your own POV but for me Its a shame. Things could have managed in a better way.

If the world cup was on the same dates there would have been no issue- it was to be held in another country.

The election commission decides dates for elections & they cannot be swayed by trivial commercial ventures like the IPL.

IPL could not be shifted due to dates / availability of players from their respective boards. Even all players were not available for all matches for their respective teams.

No national pride involved in a commercial venture.

Why are we even bothered in discussing IPL here. I am quite confident that with 2 years the situation in Pakistan would be back to normal and we can have our own PPL (as planned earlier). There are loads of billionaire who are ready to buy these franchises.

We should not waste the bandwidth in discussing IPL here. We are a proud nation and must not allow any nation to disrespect us or trying to be cheeky or smart.

I would advise PCB to take firm stance, you have a backing of 170 mln people. Period.

Very simple. It's not PCB's luxury to choose venues for World Cup matches.

It was already stated by ICC that Pakistan's matches will be held in India, Ban,and SL.

Now it is some problem with PCB, which underlines some assumption like, "If we won't host any matches due to our internal problems, and non-presence of security, the we would not let India host matches as well at any cost".

Now BCCI is not a kid to be bullied like that. It will give the befitting reply.

It is always the problem. Problem of not seeing own fault. PCB itself banned its players from playing in IPL and I saw many Pakistanis crying how BCCI conspired against them.
