Well, I have a different view here. I still believe, they are good bowlers but seems like they were not adequately prepared. No one will believe that Afridi is not a good bowler. He is definitely a class bowler. But for him to operate with full efficiency, you need his partner to either keep the pressure at the other end/take wickets.
Afridi was unfortunate that his opening partner/Rauf went for a total failure. Afridi is the only bowler who could create some impact. Harris Rauf is a great T20 bowler and a complete misfit for a 50/Test match.
If you observe closely, Pakistan could not make any impression in the middle over because you do not have any quality spinner who could create an impact. In India, without a good quality spinner, Pakistan is given a free hand to its opponent to bat without any pressure from 12-42 overs. Pakistan came to play the World Cup in India with one quality specialist spinner Shadab Khan who is out of form throughout this competition.
