The 'History channel' has nothing to do with 'history' per se, for God's sake. Since when the 'history channel' became the 'peer reviewed' science channel? Almost 90% or more that is presented on the history channel is pure gossip or in the softest words 'imagination'.
Humans are imaginative and I do not argue that people living in ancient India did not imagine about highly destructive weapons, super fast means of transportation, medicines or spells that would heal even the dead. However, it does not mean those things actually existed back then. Take for instance the super hero concept, the Batman, the Superman, the incredible Hulk etc. These are all the products of imagination of one or several humans. However, they do not exist, not yet at least. If 50 years from now, or 100 years from now, someone does come up with the realization of those concepts, wont mean that the credit of the invention/innovation/discovery would go to Mr. Stan Lee.
You mean to say, Batman doesn't exist?
