1. This seems to be 249 or 240G MMG for a machine gunner, used for suppressive fire. You can't compare it with service rifle.
2. You can't aim to shoot with a MMG, smoke from the barrel would blind your view from target. This is the proper employment tech of MMG and higher caliber. Assistant gunner is a must to guide the gunner to target.

True, but they seems to be in an ambush stitution on a petrol. Their enemy is firing AKs ( hearing from the pops) which is lesser range than them. All they needs is to put down enough suppressive fire to get the hell out of that situation and call in the JDAMs to finish off the enemy. Thorkam guy was fighting from a defensive position, firing casually, you can see his muzzle goes up in the air on every burst (not even the shoulder support). In military terms we used to call it "spray and prey" technique, for the untrained, commonly used by militants in Iraq.

First think i am talking about the ability of our armed forces that with limited assests kabul is not a difficult task..u talk about histroy it was ISI and our tranined soldiers(Mujahideen) who defeated those powers...
Nobody wants blood of our brothers but should not play in the hands of others.

1st thing , As per Sharea during a fitna we are supposed to follow the commands of the Caliph, even if he is fighting against the angels-----
