BullshitDidnt say it was wrong but I actually thought Turkey would have developed its own tank gun.
Why the butthurt?Bullshit
Before Abrams was produced, US, Germany etc were also jointly developing a tank, but it didnt go through thus instead of developing the wheel again they borrowed a German gun.
Why do you consistently write empty sentences which don't give anything? Before Abrams was produced, US, Germany etc were also jointly developing a tank, but it didnt go through thus instead of developing the wheel again they borrowed a German gun.
I thought we Pakistanis were emotional fools. But nah, Turks have proved that they are indeed our cousins. Why do you consistently write empty sentences which don't give anything?
Turkey’s first indigenous battle tank production delayedIn 2016 the Altay tanks was set to be ready in "18 months". It's 2020 and we are still saying it will be ready in 18 months....
This project isn't being handled correctly.
Don't you realize that Germans simple don't want to sell engines and transmissions if TR doesn't want to accept their restrictions? Some of those obstacles would be that TR wouldn't be allowed to use those tanks in Syria or Lybia or as I read somewhere they wouldn' t be allowed to use them at european soul at all! That would mean in case of a attack for e.g. at Istanbul TR army wouldn't be allowed to use them! Who the hell would be that stupid to build a tank, pay so much for engines and trans. and then accept such stupid restrictions from a "allie" and "friend"? It is 100 times better to wait till own solution is done and be able to use that tool how ever you want, build whole R&D industrie arround and spend the whole money domesticaly as to give it to such "friends". How stupid, blind or just treacherous one has to be to grumble about that again and again. In 2016 the Altay tanks was set to be ready in "18 months".
