Afghan and Mughal Invaders came to Sub indian continent for theft and lust of power . Why Pakistan Missiles were named on them . We have many muslim heros of soil for example Tipu Sultan , Dullah Bhatti and many Fata tribes mahsud wazir, khattak , Afridi who sacrificed lives for protection of mother land and independence .

Why Pakistan Missiles were named on them

Because we share many of the same ethnic groups with Afghanistan (most notably Pashtuns), our western regions have often been associated with that region, and these figures are respected as Muslim heroes where as Indians get triggered anytime their names are even mentioned.

And the culture of the Mughals is probably the closest to modern day Pakistan's out of any pre-Pakistan entity in history. Lahore was also one of their most major cities, and many people from what is now Pakistan worked in that empire, and many other Pakistanis are descended from people who held high positions in the empire.

Syed Ahmad Khan himself was descended from a long line of Mughal aristocrats and was born/raised in Delhi when it was still under Mughal rule.

Dear T, I don't agree with your logic , we have to correct our history for our generations, Mughals and Afghan invaders just came for theft and rule .

This is the kind of boxed in thinking that arises from etched lines in the sand... but it is completely natural though. So, while in Pakistani psychy of today current borders form a state and likewise former borders such as British Raj and everything it encompassed as a predecessor. But, it is still strange that that psychy will not include current Myanmar or former Burma. Nation state is relatively a very new concept and both Pakistan and India are technically not nation states though perhaps generation Z thinks as such. Considering Afghans or Central Asian kings as foreigners is part of that thinking eventhough some made their abode in Delhi and built what is now considered south Asian heritage architecture and language. I mean their legacy is more than skin deep yet because of their origin are considered foreign and funny thing is many may find their very own lineage back to central Asia. State was a much different concept than nomadic groups moved all the times for a greener pasture. Horsemen could ride from Delhi to central Asia and vice versa kind of travel modern hard borders have made impossible. Lack of local trade and sharing of ideas and knowledge has been brought to a grinding halt since the colonial times. But that sense of otherness also persists because conquest was never east to west it always followed a familiar patern Central Asia to South Asia and give a couple of centuries of rest and those very people once assimilated in south Asia considered themselves natives and new comers invaders. I guess time is of essence that land communication is restored with central Asia. It will be an eye opener of epic proportions of how much south Asian culture, language, cuisine and architecture is influenced by them. And maybe then this question will probably be put to rest.

You can make an opinion about the conquerors about what they did after the conquest.
Nadir Shah Afshari,Amir Temur Lang, Ahmad Shah Durrani They came they looted they took the wealth and they went back and repeat they were Barbarian Looters no matter how much one wants to cover them in cloak of Muslim Brotherhood they were savages who plundered cities after cities of modern day Pakistan and India. Saljuks and Mughals on the other hand came here, conquered, made great empires became part of the land, defended the land against foreign invaders generation after generation loved by the people (Mongol Invasion was repelled by Seljuk Rulers of Delhi). Just to get an idea one have to just read the account of arrest of Bahadur Shah Zafar by the Brits and the Bloody Gate Incident how people loved Mughals. But History is always controvertial, Hero of one is enemy of other all the time.
Point is our Weapons should be named after our own Martyred Soldiers only in my Opinion. Not in history. our Brave Nishan e Haider and then other Martyrs of Kashmir war, 65 war, 71 war, 99 conflict, War against Terrorists.
Aziz, Tufail, Sher Khan, Lalakjan, Saif, Sarwar, Minhas, Akram, Shabbir, Hussain, Mehfuuz, Rafique, Hayaudin and so on. Sons of Motherland Gave their lives defending it. Our Real Heroes and Inspirations.
And what we are naming our war machines after? Fairy Tales :hitwall:

The Heroes You Talk About Are No Doubt Credible Figures But They Were Localized Figures
