Why would you be proud of turks and mughals? Majority of Pakistani Pashtuns are indigenous to Pakistan, they were first in line to be conquered and converted by various turk invasions from Central asia. Later on they will get employeed by Turks and in some cases rule for some years.

Majority of the people in Punjab, Sindh, KPK and Kashmir who have turkic or persian family names like "chughtai", "mughal", "barlas", "Mir", "Mirza", "Baig", "Khan" etc. are most likely descended from the mixed "Adeena Baig Khan" (originally Deenu Arain) type local families with some admixture with the foreign turkic, persian and middle eastern aristocratic families in local turkic and mughal administrations in the past centuries. I think Adeena Baig Khan (Deenu Arain) phenomenon was not an isolated case, it just got more highlighted because the guy ascended too high in the hierarchy of the things. I don't rule out some turkic, persian or middle eastern blood in them but still they are predominantly collection of past "Adeena Baig Khan" type families.

Breaking news, majority of so called Pakistani pashtun ethnicity is indigenous to what is now Pakistan and have little to do with central asian invaders post Islam.

Mahmud Ghaznavi, Muhammad Ghauri and Ahmad Shah Durrani were South Asian, not Central Asian. They're also all related to Pashtuns (the Nasher, Sur and Durrani Pashtuns are related to all three figures). That only leaves Babur, whose army was packed with Pashtuns.

Sher Shah suri, commander of Turk dynasty that backtabbed them to rule Delhi for 15 years. Abdali another commander of persian turk Nadir Shah that got opportunity after Nadir Shah death. Correct me if Im wrong about history.

Sorry but your historical information is lacking and i don't have time or patience to repeat what i have already answered.

Abdali is 17th century Afghan/Durrani pashtun. Mahmud is 10th century central asian Turk. Meanwhile majority of pashtun population in Pakistan is of non-durrani or Ghilji extraction and are indigenous to NW Pakistan for thousands of years as ancient and modern DNA proves. Few years ago I've watched Baloch senator Bizonjo interview on tv. He categorically said while for Pakistan state Abdali was a hero but for us Baloch he was a villain.

Similarly Babur isn't looked up as hero by history savvy pashtuns. Even Abdali is looked as villain by Ghiljis of Afghanistan for siding with Nadir Shah to take down Hotak dynasty.

I'm no expert in history but your response says it all, you have no clue what you are talking about.

If you really wanted to know you would have scrolled down from where you quoted me. Anyway whatever makes you happy, i don't really care if you think i don't have a clue about the history of my own people.

Ghazni isn't in Central Asia. And the Nasher clan of Pashtuns are descended from the Ghaznavid dynasty.

Weird since so many Balochis fought for Ahmad Shah Durrani.

Some do, some don't.

this still does not change the fact that many Muslim rulers from central asia just came for plunder and loot.
it does not change the fact that many things they did were unislamic. the redeeming factor are those Sufi saints. That is what converted Afghanistan, Pakistan and parts of Bharat into Muslims. I would even say that given the fact that Muslim dynasties that ruled over North Bharat for about 800 years or more, Muslims failed in their 'dawah' to the non Muslims. Persia became majority Muslim within 800 years and so did, Central Asia/Afghanistan and Pakistan. So did Indonesia/Malaysia. So did North Africa. But North Bharat did not. This is mainly due to the Muslim dynasties ruled over their non Muslim subjects.
In my opinion the Sufi saints would have probably done a better job at 'dawah' if it were not for the discriminatory nature at times of those Muslim dynasties.

Muslim rule over North India was less than 600 years. 1192 to 1750s.

as a punjabi i am willing to share my opinion openly.
Only few tribes were there back in start like gakhar.awan khattar which were first to forcefully converted into muslim and modern day punjab mostly was the lands previously used by Gujjars for grazing their cattle on banks of rivers and they were second people who converted into muslim. Most modern day pakistan punjab was forest and was not habitate . it was in 13 to 17 century major tribes due to wars and famine moved to modern day pakistani punjab and cultivate it. This was time when muslim punjabi sufisim and civilisation flourished
You should stop loving foreign invaders and start loving yourself and local punjabi heroes . i am your will find plenty like adina khan arain mughal governer of punjab , saad ullah taheem first local punjabi to act as prime minister of whole hindustan under shah jahan, sarang khan gakhar and there are many more if you dig deep. Even tipu sultan grandfather were cold blooded muslim punjabis so all we need is to promote our local heroes

And you need to stop crying just because you disagree with me.

You have no proof they were "forcefully converted".

and modern day punjab mostly was the lands previously used by Gujjars for grazing their cattle on banks of rivers and they were second people who converted into muslim.

Another statement you cannot prove.

Most modern day pakistan punjab was forest and was not habitate

A lot of it is desert.

You should stop loving foreign invaders and start loving yourself and local punjabi heroes

Or, I could just like both of them. I already knew the other people you listed (other than that Taheem guy).

The ghiljis along with their tribal chief Noor muhammad khan supported Ahmed shah Abdali in loya jirga which installed him as the king.
