My relatives in Lakki told us that the attack lasted for at least an hour, I didn't check after that. Gunfire and explosions I could hear myself on the call. It was a big, well planned attack.

Ah yes, that is because the generals have had their pants down .. and bent over.

No one trusts them anymore ... and the opposing PTM slogan seems more apt now.

The idiots had to postpone elections, and they were already crying about threats.

Sudden rise in terrorism is because terrorism never ended.
Zarb E Azb did not end terrorism. Most of TTP crossed border into Afghanistan and fought there.
Now we’re facing TTP + some factions of Afghan Taliban who have given their support to TTP.
The rise in attacks is because 1) Taliban takeover in Afghanistan and 2) settling of terrorists in Pakistan under the guise of “negotiations”.

Even if Pak Army eliminated 90% of TTP during Zarb E Azb, ideological they faced 0 damage and used that to their advantage to just recruit more fighters + the aligning with Baloch terrorists and Afghan nationalists meant TTP had a larger pool of people they could recruit from.

In short, we celebrated victory too early while the enemy was simply regrouping and changing up it’s strategy.

Any future operation will follow the same pattern. Much if not most of TTP will go Afghanistan and wait it out. Pak Army will clear all areas. When things calm down TTP will use sleeper cells to spike up attacks and enter “negotiations” while using that as a cover to re enter the cleared areas on mass. And the cycle repeats.

That’s why I always say Pakistan needs to fight this on multiple fronts not just militarily. They need to fight it ideologically and ensure development in war torn areas. Pakistan needs to figure out what it’s doing with Afghanistan and become proactive not reactive. Pakistan needs to bring the fight to the enemy rather than the enemy bring the fight to it.

Basically, Pakistan lacks long term strategy and direction which causes all this.

Nah they do have a long term strategy, to suppress Muslims and Pakistanis for their haramkhor ways. They have no qualms about getting innocent Pakistanis killed as we’re an abundance resource to be exploited by them.
No surprise the Indian is on the side of the GHQ in this endeavor. The Indian skillfully purchased the GHQ via third party country. They are all on the same side - suppressing Muslims for $$$$

On night 27th to 28th April 2023 4 Terrorists Eliminated, Security Forces, while fighting gallantly, repulsed three attacks by terrorists on different locations within a span of short time in Lakki Marwat District. A Motorcycle borne Suicide bomber exploded himself near security forces post in Lakki Marwat followed by a fierce fire exchange between own troops and terrorists.

Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists as a result of which 4 x terrorists were sent to hell. In two other encounters with terrorists in general area Amir Kalam and Tajbi Khel, District Lakki Marwat, 3 x more terrorists, including terrorist commander Musa Khan, were eliminated. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the seven killed terrorists.

However, during intense exchange of fire,
Naib Subedar Taj Mir (age 40 years, resident of District Nowshera),
Havaldar Zakir Ahmed (age 38 years, resident of District Abbottabad)
and Sepoy Abid Hussain (age 29 years, resident of District DI Khan) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.

Update:

Ops have been started since March, officially announced in April. This war has taken a new turn now.

despite updates on social media from blue ticks… This is still very much an active operation!

Two fronts are open, KPK and Baluchistan. The third is inside Afghanistan but that’s drones, artillery, BEL ops and sniper fire on border.
