1. And thats your problem, ever situation of interaction/conflict whether its a war or a game of football entails a probability of defeat and victory for the competitors. Just before a football game you can not say that one side is certain of victory of defeat, then how can you say after the game that the winner was always destined to victory? In a similar vein just before hostilities commenced between Japan and U.S. there were probabilities in victory and defeat, it was always more probable that U.S. would be victorious and the Japanese high command always knew this, they were however willing to take the given gamble.


2. No, its not that simple. Victory occurs for the entity when its skill + luck/chance is greater than the skill + luck/chance of the opponent.

Therefore the side with the lower skill will try to increase their luck/chance, this can be done by using a more risky strategy which if you look at the post on risk you will hopefully understand.

I'd stick to game theory and math if I were you. You obviously have no clue about the real world. Oh and your debating skills are non -existant I would take another class if i were you.

I have gone through some of the threads and it amazes me the force with which you talk down to people with years of experience in these matters.
For the record I have seen all ACTUAL service and I am also a graduate of a Physics and maths program. I suggest some reading in the area of Chaos theory. Oh and when you use these game theory skills to win your first billion in the casinos can you lend me a few quid?

People need to think like an indian / pakistani regarding the combat between pakistan and india. You need to look through the eyes of indian buyer of what they are going to buy and how many------talking and thinking of war strategy like a white man in the indian pakistani theater won't help.

India cannot buy the number of new tanks regardless of what their economy is today to make them feel that they can neutralize pakistan to give them that total control for victory.

Countries like usa, britain, australia, russia would have been worshipping cows by now if they were facing an enemy with 3 times the fighter aircraft, 3 times the army, three times the tanks, 4 times artillery, 4 times the navy---- and they bragg about beating the world third rate army.

1. Game theory and maths are only useful in that they be applied to practical problems.

Game theory skills can never allow you to win billions in casinos, what it can explain is why billions are won and lost and whether to engage in such gambles in the first place which is obvious that you shouldnt engage in such gambles because not only is the variance of the returns so high but the expected payoff is lower than just keeping the money.

There is an upgrade on Al-Khalid, and that upgrade makes any new Al-Khalid that rolls out Al-Khalid 2. There are just improvements on it.

tactics are tactics my freind, and have nothing to do with nationality but on the mission, terrain,training, enviroment, and tools.

Absolutes are dangerous, with multiple victories ove rpakistan so far humilty would seem to be in order not arogance. The German miracle of the 1930's was that they looked at thier losses objectively and developed a way to win next time.

By your anology Americans should be playing cricket and drinking tea. In both our wars with Britian the UK had hundreds of warships and tens of thousands of men and yet the US (at the time ony having about 1/3 the numer of states) won, yet Pakistan doe sdrink tea and play cricket..... hmmmmm Also Britian held of Nazi Germany and those countries combined destroyed the most evil force to ever walk in a mans shoes.

Why are you guys even fighting? Sit down and talk and about the issues via diplomacy and work things out with our risking nuclear war. Imagine how rich Pakistan would be if she spent those billions on raising her economy instead of buying guns, the same goes for India.

Who are u calling 'rats' sir?? a country that is democratic and has elections or a country that hangs its own elected PM and where the army takes over the country with frightening regularity??

And pleasebear in mind, spend as much as u want on defence....India is bigger, India is stronger. India can still blow u off the map...we as citizen's are prepared to accept any amount of damage to us for this goal. We may not be unscathed in the war, but sir, we will LIVE.
