What AESA radar mean? will it take A2A defence role of itself at a mission or will it work like small unmanned awacs

Strange thing is the part where the wing would be attached to looks sealed, could it be a full scale aerodynamic test object? But then again paint job wouldnt make sense.

Çift motorlu olarak tasarlanan ve havada 24 saat kalabilecek Akıncı Taarruz İnsansız Hava Aracı imalat bantına girdi. Baykar Makine Teknik Müdürü Selçuk Bayraktar, ilk gövdenin fotoğrafını twitter üzerinden “Üretim hattına büyük bir uçan baluk girdi. Yolda, geliyor... Takipte kalın” diyerek paylaştı.

Servis irtifası 40 bin feet olarak planlanan Akıncı, toplam 5 ton ağırlığa sahip olacak. 1,5 ton faydalı yük kapasitesi ile Akıncı 24 saat havada kalabilecek.

Kendi geliştirdiği ve silah kullanabilen İnsansız Hava Aracı (İHA) sistemlerinde önemli adımlar atan Türkiye, ANKA’nın ardından daha büyük Akıncı’da tasarımın önemli bölümü tamamlandı. 2020’de ilk uçuşunu yapması planlanan sistem, 900 kilogram mühimmat taşıyabilecek.

Baykar Makina tarafından tasarlanan ve çift motorlu SİHA’da TEI imalatı PD170 motorlarına sahip olacak sistem, 5 palli pervanesi ile motorun ürettiği gücü daha verimli kullanacak. Kanat açıklığı 20 metreye kadar çıkacak Akıncı’da uydu haberleşmesi için SAT-COM sistemi yer alacak. Böylelikle aracın menzili çok daha uzatılabilecek.

Gövdenin altında ise Aselsan tarafından geliştirilen CATS sistemi, hedefin takip edilmesi ve görüntü alınması amaçlı kullanılacak. Maksimum kalkış ağırlığı 5 ton olacak Akıncı, 2 adet Roketsan MAM-L, 2 adet 500’er librelik Mk82 (Roketsan TEBER) veya 2 adet Mk82 (TÜBİTAK SAGE KGK kitli) bomba taşıyabilecek. Akıncı gövde içinde 450 kilogramlık faydı yük ile uçabilecek.

Yeni SİHA sisteminin testlerine 2020’de başlanacak. Toplam bir yıllık test aşamasından sonra teslimatın 2021’de yapılması öngörülüyor.

and coherent change detection mode with sar radar you can see the the way that car made like eight number detected by sar radar

and detection of direction of moving targets even it can be a walking man

as real. Two TS-1400 turboprop engines, isn't this a little bit overpowered for 4.5t max take off unmanned vehicle that aims to operate 40k feet altitute for 24h?

To compare, here is MQ-9 Reaper;
MTOW 4.8tonnes
max altitute 50.000feet
engine 900hp turboprop

if 2 TS-1400s will be used on that, i bet that won't be 4.5 tonnes as Yusuf claims, but maybe 10+ tonnes

Does seem overpowered for those specs. Maybe they want to give it a high speed ability for raids. It is called akıncı after all.

Then there is no way this will stay in air for 24 hours. Same source Yusuf Akbaba claims that this Akıncı will be 4.5tonnes (1.5 tonnes of that is payload). MQ-9 Reaper's MTOW is 4.76tonnes, MQ-9 carries 1.8 tonnes fuel to feed 900hp engine...

... Now they claim that Akıncı's MTOW is 4.5 tonnes, 1,5 tonnes of this payload, what's left? 3 tonnes. Either way those 3 tonnes are fully fuel (still cannot feed 2 TS-1400 engines for 24 hours ) or there is no way it will stay in air 24 hours.

That twitter account says engine would be derived from TS-1400...i think they would use foreign turbo-prop at the beginning.
