We’ve all dreamed of starring in our own viral hip-hop video in which we lambaste our employer, humiliate our co-workers, drop “f” bombs and complain how unappreciated we are, right?

Well, maybe not.

But one Air India pilot has done just that with a homemade video that’s making the rounds and upsetting his bosses.

In the video, the uniformed pilot complains about unpaid salary and aging flight attendants and claims that “people at the top” of the company have ruined the airline.

According to The Times of India, the 28-year-old pilot has already given a written apology to management. Disciplinary action is pending.

“The airline says it will speak to the Dreamliner co-pilot and review his past conduct before taking a final decision on him,” says the Times of India report.

The pilot has refused to speak with media, but co-workers describe him as an enthusiastic and all-around musician.

“The pilot is in the wrong profession,” deadpanned an unnamed Air India official quoted by The Times. “Since he is so talented as a musician, he should have been in a rock band.”

Air India rap: Pilot may face disciplinary action
:D:D

NEW DELHI: Air India may take disciplinary action against a pilot, who uploaded a video of a song laced with sarcasm and expletives against airline management.

However, the pilot has "unconditionally apologised and promised to withdraw the video from the Internet site. We have asked the General Manager of the region to examine the matter and take action if need be," Air India CMD Rohit Nandan told reporters here.

Replying to questions, the airline chief said, "We have viewed it and taken cognizance of it. The pilot has also been spoken to."

Air India sources had earlier ruled out any "knee-jerk reaction" saying "they were verifying the facts, including whether the main actor in the video was a pilot with the airline and whether the video is doctored or his photo morphed".

Titled "Air India Rap", the video shows the young pilot getting dressed for work only to be later told that his flight has been cancelled. The song is about the situation facing the national carrier.

Demand Padma bhushan for the pilot !

The video caught a lot of attention. Its been reported in medias across India,Middle-east, Cambodia, New zealand, Australia, All of Europe and the USA.

It has been more than five months since I haven't got paid. Time n time again and again I have been betrayed."

People work here for a lifetime they never retire. See old faces everyday gets ma *** on fire.

"How do I fly with woman in sixties, they call them air hostesses we call them aunties."

"I work with Air India as you know. I love ma company, there is nowhere else I go."

"He works for us, yes," G.P. Rao, a spokesman for the airline, told Agence France Presse.

"We are looking into the issue. The management will decide how to go about it," Rao said.

The Times of India quoted a senior Air India manager as branding the song "an immature act", and adding that the airline would examine the pilot's record "before taking a final view" on whether to discipline him.

State-run Air India is the country's fourth-largest airline and has been plagued by crushing debts.

The airline had also suffered from the impact of rising fuel prices and fierce competition, AFP said.

Last year pilots at the airline staged a two-month strike.

To be fair it seems like he has been screwed over particuarly by the DREAMLINER grounding. And he is quite fair, he says that there is good people mostly in Air India it is just a few idiots at the very top that are bad apples and he also says he knows Ar India will get out if this mess soon.
