US is going to use these to arm twist Pakistan. They are going to make a last ditch effort. Pakistan on its part should be fully aware and a contingency plan should be in place. If we dont get the Zulus than what? Turkish it still has an American engine and Chinese did not performed as was expected.

If US stopped the delivery of these helicopters it would be breaching a contract with Pakistan, who paid for these helicopters out of its own funds and deserves the right to receive them. It would be a replay of the F-16 fiasco during the 1990s when Pakistan paid for F-16s but were never delivered. I remember Pakistan even won a court case to either receive the planes or get their money back.

I don't see any circumstances now, or the near future, that would stop the delivery of these helicopters. Pakistan-US relations would have to go bad very quickly for US to pull something like this. Plus, these aircraft will be used for COIN ops, something US is keen on Pakistan continuing.

Just saying if where not building our own helicopters and buying them from the US, why not buy the pilots as well.

When our F16s were embargoed, one of the options once offered by the US to release them was that they be flown by American pilots lest we use them to carry nukes.

This was a long time ago I think during the 90s
