AFTER THE ‘SURGICAL STRIKES’

surgical strike
I have no doubt there was fighting on the LOC. You know that goes on all the time - when tensions are high firing begins. In this case as Ejaz Haider states there were "shallow incursions" which were blocked immediately.
You send squad of soldiers to probe enemy defences is no big deal. Firing starts as soon as your detected. You withdraw. Possible causalties.

For political effect and drama you tren can call that "surgical strike" and reap political advantage by looking tough guy. Maybe Bollywood scriptwriter might be able to stitch a blockbuster there. Modi now can look good in fron of his supporters.

Chenghezi bhai who the **** cares about Simla Agreement, it didn't involve Kashmiri people.
Actually, it involved you, Pakistanis. So who exactly are you telling f whatever, is Pakistanis. You signed it. Now adhere to it. Or are you saying that Pakistanis have no say in Kashmir, which also is actually fine with us. But will need new agreement.

Who cares, do you think Kashmiris will stop demanding their rights because someone in Islamabad signed Simla agreement? They don't even want to be part of Pakistan.

After all, UN, USA and even China are on record, asking both Pakistan and India to resolve their issues bilaterally. Exactly what the Simla Agreement stipulates.

So you are saying Pakistan should have no say in Kashmir. That works fine with us. Now step 2. Please vacate the part of Kashmir illegally occupied by Pakistan and take back Aksai Chin and handover to us. Then we need to sit with the Kashmiris and work things out.

What can I say? You are entitled to your opinion.

Every year, we have new Pakistanis talking about UN resolution and Simla without knowing zilch of either. It is frustrating repeating the legality every time.

They were proud in always saying that Pakistan is not Myanmar, when India conducted similar surgical strikes there sometime back. This is going to hurt Pakistan's Army. They always took proud in saying that they were the 'aggressive' of the two armies.

How so? Mere accusations are not enough to embarrass or belittle the Pakistan Army. In fact, Pakistan Army is so confident that it took international and local media to the location where the so called strikes were conducted. In the eyes of the local Pakistanis, if there was someone who was belittled or embarrassed it was the Indian Army. No proof, no pictures or no videos while on the other hand Pakistani Army paraded the media where the so called strikes took place.

Your analysis is highly flawed and extremely idiotic. When you want to embarrass the other, you need to provide proof. So far, i am yet to see a single shred of proof that Indian Army Units infiltrated Pakistani borders and conducted a surgical strike. So far all the evidence points towards the fact that it was a normal skirmish, which is quite common along the LOC. Mere repackaging of the events won't change the reality. The common consensus among Pakistanis is that there were no surgical strikes, and i think that's all the consensus Pakistan Army needs.

Referendum is only way forward for IoK. Fake Sir G Kal strikes never worked.

Well see this where you need to get legal stuff in. Please read what UN resolutions says and then what YOU said after signing Simla. Now, also see what UN says and rest of the powers say. And they talk about whole of Kashmir state. Including Gilgit, Baltistan, the part you call AJK and then Aksai Chin. The legality is completely against you.

Even Simla agreement at most says IoK issue will be "resolved" without intervention of 3rd party as if there was any for decades before that. So as far as Kashmiris in valley are concerned this issue is far from solved till referendum is held. You are making it sound like Pakistan sold of Kashmir in simla agreement.

As an Indian I have a different perspective on the whole matter. I think India has crossed a threshold disregarding Pakistan's nuclear status. And BJP is saying they will do it again in case of another terror attack from Pakistani soil. I will leave it here, but I feel there is a perceptible change in Indian government attitude towards Pakistan from the previous Indian governments.

There is an old saying "Actions Talks and Bullshit Walks"

If you think this was a threshold that was crossed than this is very amusing for me. If Hot Talk is all that is required to change the threshold, than please talk away. If BJP is going to conduct a Press Conference again, and make some made up accusations, please be my guest.

That works best for us too. :)

Awesome

Effectively, it did.

Think of the situation at the time.

First you should change your flags.

This is very close to personal abuse.
