African Union Suspends Egypt

Egypt has been duped into this ill-advised Coup d'etat and they will soon learn the heavy price they will have to pay. Even the US has to re-evaluate its stance as the US law forbids aid to countries indulging in non democratic action as these. We also have to see the EU response to this action by next week.

US military aid is a part of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty it cancellation is nonnegotiable. Some US senators and reporters/journalists have deluded themselves to think it is. Even if cancelled we can handle it, US will lose a key ally and its military industrial complex will lose one of its biggest customers. EU have already stated their position.

Due to higher fertility rate of Sub-saharan Africans, they will become the overwhelming majority, both Muslim and Christian in this continent. This is a potential opportunity that could as well become a disaster if future is not properly planned.

Ok now,Democratic election and in power means;after winning the election you stay a democracy so no changing the country into an islamist theocracy,get it?

I think many people find the military takeovers a video game with little effects.

A country needs to have a political system with a proper opposition and a govt and the elections remove the threat of violence to a large extent if this process carries.

Morsi could have been made to do things behind the curtain.

Now the egyptian bureaucracy would be wondering who to obey, the constitution or the army.
