Well I cant say abt anyone else but I spent 3 straight months in af'n this year only from jan till mar in mazarsharif and enjoyed their hospitality ...Unfortunately dint see a single indian there yeah there might be a few hindus in safe enclaves in kabul n thats that but even today there are more pakis than indians in af'n and are evenly spread from north to south...Yu guys better stop dreamin and wasting yr money in af's as a very rude awakening is awaiting yu ...better spend some money on yr hungry and unedycated masses sleeping on roads ...

There is threat of Talibanisation/ Extremism or (whatever you want to call it) of Afghanistan what with AQ spreading its wings in Afg and interiors of Pakistan - there were rumours of Talibanisation of Pk as well, this threat would have spread to India if Pakistan gets affected. So a developing Afg is in our interests, your interests, China's interst and Russia's interest and also the western worlds interest - cos the radical/terrorist threat would have effected everybody.

The whole international community is already spending billions, the returns from the minerals is peanuts in comparision and there is no guarantee that the minerals will be actually dug and shipped without danger.

Its been done to generate employment and economy in Afg and help them stand on their feet.
