Afghans in Pakistan: Their home and heart belong here

Daud Khan was more aggressive than Zahir Shah about Durand line issue. The Afghan commies were even more aggressive and most of these were from urban centers. One is Durrani elites, another would be elites from Ghilzais like Ahmadzais , Tarakis etc.

It was building up since 1947, in my opinion.

Is it open for IDPs?. I am told there could be suspected terrorists among IDPs.
i write word Pakistanis.pls open your racist eyes and read it.
IDP are not Pakistanis?

Kick them back to their home country we are not thekedar of these thankless peoples. Let them send to their home land or their strongest friend india. They will me more then happy there. But no more burden on pakistani economy

.
The ones with fake CNIC, are in tens of thousands , not lacs.

Surprised to see you people can distinguish between Afghan national and Pakistani Pashtun from FATA...........Islamabad police, CDA and local Islamabadis couldnt tell apart Pakistani Pakhtuns from Afghan refugees in Kachchi abaadi of I-sector.

They couldn't separate few poor punjabis among them as well, everyone was booted out of katchi abadis. And yes its not a big deal to differentiate. I mean one will have CNIC and other will not. But afghani do claim to be pak pashtuns to get CNIC in punjab, its open secret.

.
We wanted to help you even today rather than making complains you must be thankfull to pak who gave you land to live.

I agree every refugee is not bad but we suffer from your bad guys and top of it your govt now in hands of enemies of pakistan

So time for our sacrifice over go back where you cane from

It hurts us too we took al burden of afghanistan in every manner and yet people like karzai abdullah blaming pakistan and you afghanistani people who claim they ard dignify people do nothing

Is it is your dignity few dogs bark on country who gave you land to live in peace for decades yet you do nothing against them

They know afghanistan has no future only rocks

If they love Pakistan so much then they need to go back to them who dont love them to spread words for atleast 2 generation then we consider if we like to keep them in Pak...
Pakistani sud keep an eye on their neighbours and tell to rangers or police to send them back..

In UK there were few unpretty cases for immigrants, should they send them all back?

its all cuz of west they sud keep them all .. Pak simply cant afford and we have our own problems.. let us solve it then we consider or open borders for them.

They are, the question is do you treat them as Pakistanis?

I doubt that they are getting domiciles of Punjab. NADRA is not a shop that they can buy CNIC any where. Here in Pakhtunkhwa, they seek assistance of locals. Some one local is paid and he shows that Afghan to be his son or brother etc. Some locals testify that Afghan is local and from their village or town. Fake form-b and domiciles are craeted , then making CNIC in NADRA is not difficult

. .
We can not handle their burden anymore.
Why should Sohrab Goth/Afghan Basti get gas and electricity when lawful citizens of Pakistan nearby in North Karachi can get that gas and electricity instead?
They are a burden on our economy, on our security and especially on our infrastructure.
Karachi has been in a downfall because of these Afghans.
Kick them out, Idc if they're patriotic to Pakistan or not.
We must've educated a good part of these second generation Afghans, now tell them to go back and rebuild your homeland with the education we've given you.
I never thought I'd be racist but the problems these people cause to us!
Their culture (shuttle cock burqa, stone age mindset etc) is also a cancer to moderate Pakistan.
yeh hui na baat :agree:

Guys in this thread I have seen a lot of hostility towards the Afghans.
Let me just tell you about the Afghans I personally know about. I live in a small village on the outskirts of Sialkot. An Afghan family settled in nearly 6 or 7 years ago. They rented a house and started doing odd jobs. After some time the family started to pick up the trash and sell it, afterwards they slowly gained the trust of the villagers and started to do the Night guard duty. They roamed the village at night and kept it safe from any unexpected and unwanted intruders. The villagers paid them 50 rupees per house for this. Afterwards they saved some money and brought a tractor and now they plow the fields.
I have to say they are one of the nicest kind of people I have met in my entire life. Their children study in the government school (Which my mother is the headmistress of). They are good people and have through continuous hard work made a special place in the village's community. Not once have I seen them speaking anything against Pakistan.
And if these people don't deserve to stay in Pakistan I don't know many who do!

They make up all sort of stories to get CNIC if they can't get by bribing which is more common. Nadra officers are as corrupt as any other Pakistani. Afghanis with fake CNIC are likely in hundred of thousands. Even Afghani president have CNIC.

Well they think the borders where Pukhtoons live belong to them and our Durand was stupid. In the 18th century they killed more muslim of the Royal Army then most. Jirgas always remember HISTORY
Yes but they should be reminded that Pukhtoons in what is now KPK province willingly CHOOSE to became part of Pakistan and not Afghanistan after British India. It was Pukhtoons who choose to join Pakistan. Punjabis, Kashmiris and others did not force these Pukhtoons to CHOOSE Pakistan. It is not our problem if Afghans do not like this. (Although it is our problem, if you know what I mean).

We must not forget this!

Are they refugees, are they legal or illegal?
Whilst this isa good example, for every one of this, there are ten which are bad. We should not be foolish to accept any Afghan just because one family is good. (We should not be foolish to accept any foreigner at that).

I totally agree with you. Only the bad elements who are involved in terrorism and/or drug trafficking etc should be deported. When we talk about injustices and racist behaviour Arab/Gulf countries vis-a-vis south Asian Muslims, we shouldn't forget that the same principles apply to our homeland too. We should accept them as part and parcel of our society and they are brothers in faith and in need of help. Their country is still not stable. But we have to make sure that none of them is acting against the state of Pakistan.

Why should we accept them as part of our society? Before we do this we need to check very thoroughly on an individual basis whether this person is sincere to Pakistan or not. One should not let in millions of people without the proper checks. I suspect that checks were made most Afghans would not have love or respect for Pakistan even if they are not illegal or involved in crime.
The best way to ensure that they are not acting against Pakistan is ensuring that they are returned to their homeland.

If a nation does not protect its demography it is doomed!! Muslim or not Muslim.

They know afghanistan has no future only rocks

I agree with most of what you write except Afghanistan has a great future. She is the heart of Khorasan. And you know about Khorasan. The Afghans should be reminded about this, to encourage them to return and prepare the way.

What do you know about punjab. I know from first hand lots of afghanis now are claiming to be Pakistani pashtuns to get CNIC. Exemple of 2 afghani refugees. In recent crack downs they were asked to provide proof of their Pakistaniat which basically mean having CNIC. They lied and said their ancestors moved from Afghanistan in early 50's so are punjabi as anyone else, help when one speak native tongue. Hard to believe someone so old but without CNIC. One was was able to provide some bogus proof of his grand father still being alive in Afghanistan. I don't know what happened to other, was either jailed or deported. Likely released some time later.

But its tricky situation, I think maybe only refugee in camps will move back if at all. And we all know they are minorty overall among afghanis in Pakistan. Officially there are only 1 million or so refugees. Other will only move back if having CNIC become important to move around and do business. In that case those without CNIC will probably move back as well.

Another possibility I see is those who are here for decades will probably get CNIC but after certain point it will not become possible to get CNIC for anyone else. Who knows, only few thousands have gone back despite so called crack down which is blown out of proportion on PDF.
Jheleum and deena are full of afgahns speaking the local languages

You must be mad! Most Afghan refugees will "want" Pakistani nationality even thought most of them despise Pakistan in their hearts.
Another proposal to citizenship I've been advocating for quite a while now, is a foreign legion-like path for citizenship. Those who seriously want citizenship, but have little to offer, they can join the foreign legion to guard the border (to help the Rangers), and guard important (but non-sensitive) places. This way, they get citizenship, their loyalty to the state increases, and they help the nation against terrorism; all of this, in exchange for citizenship (after 2-4 years) and financial compensation.

Our hospitality is for friends only. these afghans and their back stabbing leaders have proved to be enemies of Pakistan. they all should be kicked out of Pakistan without further delay

We should uphold our culture of hospitality. Afghans shouldn't be deported.
