The fact is that, its no longer a 1990.
It is 2015, and India is ahead of Pakistan in all social, economic & Military parameters.
Why would a Pakistani want to live in the past?

Rangila, i disagree very strongly that India is ahead of Pakistan in all social, economic and military indicators. Nowhere in world so may people sleep on empty stomach as in India, More peoples in India sleep in pipes and gutters then entire population of Pakistan. Alot of unjust is happening in India. Pakistan is more wealthy country then India, in India they even dont have enough toilets . India has a large population and a big challenge to improve life quality if its masses. Pakistans standing is far better then Indias.

I compare social indicators in India and Pakistan proportional, even then Pakistan is ahead of India. India has to stop using so large portion of its budget in army and start using money on human development and improve life quality of ordinary Indian if Indians wish their country ahead of other countries measured in human development indicators in South Asia.

I have for long time kept an eye on development projects in Afghanistan and in my oppinion Afghanistan is developing faster then Pakistan. Afghanistan is getting modern infrastructure in every field. Foreign companied doing state of the art jobs etc etc.

It would be wonderful for Pakistan (and the region) if they are developing as rapidly as you suggest, because sustained development along those lines would require political stability and a significant reduction in the violence that has plagued Afghanistan so far, which would in turn imply that Afghanistan has reduced the space available for TTP and associated terrorist groups operating out of her territory.

Errr...equal footing? India had more assets (and had actually WITHELD the share Pakistan was to receive) and was in possession of the most developed areas of India.
