Afghan leaders blame Taliban for vicious attack on maternity ward

Syrian sunnis want much less than this : free and fair elections but you support mass murderer Assad.

So how do you explain the mostly Sunni Palestinian group, the PFLP-GC, supporting Assad's army in the Syrian war ?

Similar to how the likes Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi supports BJP : Money, power and common interests.

We should remember that PFLP-GC has stuck with Assad's forces throughout the nine years of war, despite Assad being sanctioned by NATO, despite tens of thousands of NATO supported terrorists running amok in Syria, despite Assad being demonized by NATO media among the public in many countries.

There was good possibility that NATO would have invaded Syria using the pretext of Assad's forces using chemical weapons against civilians ( which has been actually done by Turkey-supplied terrorists ) and Assad "the monster" being overthrown.

So what money can Assad give to PFLP-GC ? What power, since the country is in war ? What common interests ?

They are based in Syria since their formation, they participated in many operations in co-ordination with Syrian Army (notably in Lebanon), so how can we take them as representative of Syrian Sunnis when they have shown opportunistic dealings in past? All their existence is tied to Assad from money, food to space itself.
And what stopped Assad to conduct free elections in 2011 when there were minor protests only? If Sunnis were on his side, then he would have won.

It seems that Russia sees Crimea as Russian territory :

And I have read before that Crimea's people want Russia to govern them. The same sentiment is present among former Ukranian soldiers based in Crimea. From the same Wikipedia source as above :

Maybe our member, @vostok, who lives in Ukraine but I believe is ethnically Russian, can tell more about this matter.
Not only Crimea, the whole Eastern and Southern Ukraine want to reunite with Russia. This lands, along with Crimea, were conquered by Russia in late 18ct. from Crimean Chanate and were mostly territory of nomadic tribes. The region was named as Novorossiya (New Russia) and were given to Ukrainian Soviet Republic after 1920 due to some communist logic - industrialized and developed New Russian cities to unite with rural Little Russia (Ukraine) to neutralize possible tensions with peasants during building of socialism economy. Noone asked people of Odessa Soviet Republic or Donetsk Soviet Republic whether they want to remain part of Russia, be independent or unite with Ukrainian Soviet Republic.
Crimeans were let to reunite with Russia during referendum in 2014. Other New-russian lands still waiting for the chance.

No doubt , but not human, Allah is watching and justice will be served soon. It's so sad everyday lots of Afghan civilian are victim of terrorism. Since 2001 , 157,000 people have been killed in the Afghanistan. These are recorded deaths, toll is more then that.
