Afghan leaders blame Taliban for vicious attack on maternity ward

Very sad and tragic attack.
Only silver lining is that pro-Taliban peace deal has fully collpased.

.
Looks like Ghani, Modi and US deep state don't want to shake hands with the Taliban. I don't think the Taliban really care whilst being in control of proceedings.

. . . .
The Pakistani members on this thread until now and elsewhere before ( I have exchanged posts with some ), who seem to be so enamored of the Taliban, they should invite the Taliban to govern Pakistan. :)

sarkari ghulams like yourself invited a bastard to lead you! Talibans are not barbaric turds like your great Hindu bastard leaders! so they don't need invitation!

Right, it wasn't the Taliban who tortured Dr. Najibullah to death and dragged his corpse around Kabul.

you do know najib history with the communist regime right..
pretty sure any and everyone would have done the same to him..
though it would have been great if the afghans would have settled that issue in civilized manner like the rest of post-soviet nations did..
but afghans have been fighting for 300 years..what is that wills top them fighting now..nothing

why not you guys invite western alliance to rule india...may be let general dostum to kil few 100,000 people or bomb delhi as well in the process..he is called butcher for a reason.....
what kinda stupid logic is that..

what Pakistan wants is for the afghans to decide what they want..and afghans are divided in their support for the Taliban and other groups. this is not me but what USA is saying..afghans need to sit together and decide their future...one group(western alliance) cant pin their hope on forever support from the USA govt..USA cannot stay any longer..USA cannot spend more money when its own citizens are going through tought times..
india is more than welcomed to take over and support the current two presidents

nothing has changed from USA perspective..this was made clear by khalizad ...as far as USA is concerned the deal is on..if the western alliance group doesn't want to talk..fine..USA will first stop funding(as it already stopped 1 b$) and than withdraw..USA has understaning with talis that they will not let foreign terrorists..the one that are left will be bombed with who ever is inc ontrol in kabul be it talis or western allaince

You have objection to something he did ( what ? ) or you have objection to the communist government ?

Yeah.

India is already ruled by a government allied with the Western governments.

If it wasn't, the Indian military, large that it is, would have supported Russia in some manner in Syria.

may be let general dostum to kil few 100,000 people or bomb delhi as well in the process..he is called butcher for a reason

Firstly, Dostum is an opportunist and untrustworthy man. He betrayed Najibullah when Najibullah wanted to escape Kabul to India.

Secondly, what would be the reason for Dostum to get involved in India ?

I would say the Pakistanis can support the Progressive activists / intellectuals among Afghans to take lead. One such movement is the SPA ( Solidarity Party of Afghanistan ).

But USA won't allow such a thing to happen because the intellectuals will naturally gravitate towards Russia, and hence USA speaks of peace with the Taliban and it possibly being part of any future government.

As for India, I would like India to support the SPA and its allies and supporters.

i and most Pakistani people had no objections..infact pakistan tried to save the govt by bringing him and the mujaheddin tot able which failed..though people of Peshawar didn't like him since he bombed Peshawar and killed many people ..(also true for current Afghan govt, members of this govt claimed girls school bus hijacking and numerous bombing in Peshawar in 1990s)

people of Afghanistan hated him for his brutal tactics during soviet war ..

why should paistan support progressives?
?
the progressive are in the minority and most afghans dont want them..this will not solve the problem, would it??..

second
what benefit will this bring to pakistan.
the progressive are fiercely anti-Pakistan (even before afghan went into civil war)
and have supported numerous times militancy and terrorist activities (in the 1950s-1970s era)....

even today they support PTM ..
as neutral observer look at in via Pakistan prism too. ..

pakistan objective is simple a neutral afghan govt who will not create mess in pakistan..
so far every afghan govt has done anything but this..

don't believe me..just look at their tweets in support of PTM and Baloch militants..does it make any sense for afghan official govt member to tweet about anything not related to Afghanistan happening in Pakistan???????????????????????????????????

.
How did you reached that conclusion?

They may be interested in some sociological and technological developments from the USA but why would Afghan intellectuals be interested in the imperialist political plans and developments from the USA ? The SPA is a socialist movement, opposed to the Taliban, and the Taliban is in or will be in peace talks with the USA.

Russia projects itself as someone who halts American imperialist plans, whether in Syria or in Venezuela. It would be natural that Afghan intellectual will see Russia as an ally.

They're imperialist themselves, in Ukraine and Crimea.
The SPA is a socialist movement
Russia is an Oligarchy with the highest wealth inequality.
It would be natural that Afghan intellectual will see Russia as an ally.
The only thing common is enemy of enemy, I don't know how much that matters.

It seems that Russia sees Crimea as Russian territory :
On 20 February 2014, during a visit to Moscow, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov stated that the 1954 transfer of Crimea from the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic had been a mistake. And I have read before that Crimea's people want Russia to govern them. The same sentiment is present among former Ukranian soldiers based in Crimea. From the same Wikipedia source as above :
On 24 March, the Ukrainian government ordered the full withdrawal of all of its armed forces from Crimea. In addition, the Ministry of Defense announced that approximately 50% of the Ukrainian soldiers in Crimea had defected to the Russian military.

Maybe our member, @vostok, who lives in Ukraine but I believe is ethnically Russian, can tell more about this matter.
