Not really, it's eventially exactly what I stated, since no sales to India were done so far, other than the SPICE 2000 possibly 1000s and that's what you admit yourself too. So we are saying the same, I just don't have the habit to make more out of it than there is, by posting totally unrelated pics that doesn't even say anything.

They never get boring, you can watch their display again and again and it looks amazing. Their displays at the German ILA air shows also often got them a lot of credit from the crowd and professionals.

Every alternate year there is the DEF EXPOin Delhi (will be held in 2016) which is for mostly land systems i.e. the army there is also a Naval expo that just started running last year.

LCA Uttam radar (x-band).

Uttam AESA radar is the Fire Control Radar for the Tejas Mk-2. Intent is to also use it for Jaguar & MiG-29 K upgrades. LCA Mk2 config states a public ie non classified, range of 100 km class against a small fighter sized target (India uses 2Sq Mtr as reference) & it can engage upto 6 targets simultaneously with active missiles. Of course, since its sized for the LCA, larger fighters can receive larger, more powerful radars as well. The power & cooling has weight penalties.
The TWS data is not mentioned (yet). No Thales or Elta HW. The radar is from LRDE (DRDO) & uses Tx/Rx modules provided by Astra Microwave which they developed along with LRDE. Rest - Exciter/Receiver data etc is not mentioned, but judging by last HW design for the MMR, is likely a UREP design (Unified Exciter Receiver Processor). The antenna array uses liquid cooling. A test article has been developed already and is being tested, refined.

BENGALURU: They appear like petals floating in the air. Minutes later, when one realizes what they are, almost every youth with the adrenaline rush wants to try it, at least once in life: Jump out from a flight, float in the air and descend on a parachute.
A team of US Army Special Airborne Forces -popularity known as Green Berets -along with India's Para Special Forces and National Security Guards (NSG) have been performing High Altitude Low Opening (HELO) jump from an altitude of 7,000 feet above ground level -that's higher than the Mullayyanagiri (6,330 ft), highest peak in Karnataka -at the Aero India.

"Once you jump out of the aircraft, for the first 40 seconds, you will be freefalling at a speed of 120mileshr. That is the best part . By the time we deploy our parachutes, we would have dropped 1,000 feet," said Captain Patrick Hyde.

"Once parachutes are opened, it takes hardly 5 minutes for us to reach the ground," explained Captain Hyde, who leads the team Operations Detachment Alpha, of First Battalion, First Special Forces Air borne. "We can jump from 25,000 feet above sea level," he added.
