Thanks for the clarification. The link on OP has been extensively discussed on this forum when news first came out. This thread should haven’t been opened. Maybe mods can merge it with the old thread.

One Erieye was destroyed, so the additional 3 will make for a total of 6. Also, the initial cost of buying was much higher due to the need of absorbing logistics, maintenance and training infrastructure. Based on the MoDP report it seems the cost of each Erieye is $130 m without ancillary equipment. The order made in May is likely a cash payment for the 2nd of 3 (the first being the replacement for the original 4th, cash payment was made in 2016).
