karachi electric is a private company unlike others, it is making efforts and because of it, there is less loadshedding in karachi in few areas, many underlying areas suffer the same amount of loadshedding

instead of pouring millions of rupees on rawalpindi islamabad metro bus project and punjab youth festival why not invest money on eletricity generation of punjab?

Bhai don't get so angry please.! Kia Punjab vs Karachi ke larai start ho gae hay. The problem is that these duffer politicians are using such serious matters only to increase there vote banks. Abid Sher Ali wanna increase his vote bank in the textile hub of Pakistan which is Faisal Abad. Now from where he would able to provide them electricity...? That 300 MWs shall be used to provide power to those textile factories to increase the exports and to complete foreign orders. In PPP era same tactics were used by cutting off the power of Punjab to overcome the power shortages in Sindh. Sir..! I am honestly informing you. Exact this month, exact these days when i was preparing for the exams for my last semester, we were facing 22 hours of load shedding in Rawalpindi region. And its true. That 22 hours load shedding continued till the end of care taker government's era..!!

You need to realize that Karachi is not the only economic Hub .. it is mostly houses the end service users .. those people get their goods from across from Pakistan ( Like Textile , Leather , Chemical , Tools ) and then process it further .. if there is no Electricity to Manufacture those goods then what good is the economic Hub as it will not have anything to trade .

so before anyone here gets emotional that why did this happen to us look for others as well , you are not the only person who exist in Pakistan or Pakistan does not exist because of you , it is the other way around .. instead of focusing on your political affiliation for one party try to think of bigger picture .. you are Pakistani first and then Punjabi or Sindhi later .

and I have been to Karachi ...at that time in Lahore there are 12 hours of load shedding & in Karachi the most I witnessed was 6 hours .

First of all make all the electric wiring under ground first step towards getting rid of bijli chori. There must be some technology to prevent electric theft something when someone tries to use kunda their electronics burns at once leaving them to regret.
