Karachi's population is increasing rapidly, unless ofcourse, Karachi kicks out the immigrants, the swat IDPs and rest of the people, it deserves its increasing share in Pakistani resources

Karachi's police force is half of lahore, despite karachi being double or triple of Lahore's population

and being the economic ingine it deserves better because every pakistani comes and earns from karachi, you don't care more about the maintenance of seat leather cover than about engine of a car, engine is more important than rest of other parts of a car

You need to realize that Karachi is not the only economic Hub .. it is mostly houses the end service users .. those people get their goods from across from Pakistan ( Like Textile , Leather , Chemical , Tools ) and then process it further .. if there is no Electricity to Manufacture those goods then what good is the economic Hub as it will not have anything to trade .

so before anyone here gets emotional that why did this happen to us look for others as well , you are not the only person who exist in Pakistan or Pakistan does not exist because of you , it is the other way around .. instead of focusing on your political affiliation for one party try to think of bigger picture .. you are Pakistani first and then Punjabi or Sindhi later .

and I have been to Karachi ...at that time in Lahore there are 12 hours of load shedding & in Karachi the most I witnessed was 6 hours .

i agree, karachi must not have the population influx, people belonging to punjab and the rest of the country must not come to karachi, karachi's population influx is not like rest of the country, karachi doesn't have proper rescue service, it doesn't have metro service, its has half of lahore police force, it's police is not local, karachi shares majority of the economic burden,

if you go to islamabad, it is better developed than karachi, islamabad police is better equipped, just like lahore

if you go to balochistan, you can't compare development of lahore with quetta or peshawar or balochistan, why is that?, motorway only exists in Punjab, why is that?

quetta and peshawar face more outages than lahore, why is that?

if karachi generates 70% of the revenue, then it must be contributing like any other part of the country, why is that karachi generates more than it should, and provides jobs more than it should? shares the burden more than it should?

According to sources there are two power projects of 660 MWs(1320 MWs in total). , plus the finance Minister was saying that those projects would be completed on war footings. Have some patience sir. what's the benefit of federal building one unsafe nuclear bomb near karachi when it has decided to discriminate the city from the rest of the country perticularly punjab?

those 600 MW would go to raiwind and adjoining areas as well, they have always fed on karachi never gave it any importance and then they complain that its MQM who is destroying karachi, economic engine of the country

Again they dont Generate 70% of revenue .. that is a simple misconception .. you are simply stating accumulated figure which is not true .. The reason Karachi is in this state is because of its people & the leaders they choose to represent themselves .. Karachi collects more Bhata then it collects tax ... Development of Provinces is the responsibility of the provincial government .. they all have the funds if they misuse it or not use it at all is their fault & your fault for choosing them .. you cannot always blame the person who is sitting at the top .. we are Half of the problem .. if we cannot correct ourselves then we have no right to tell others to do so .

Additional power supply to Karachi cut-off’

Minister of State Abid Sher Ali has said that additional supply of electricity to Karachi has been cut as the Sindh government was defaulter of Rs52 billion.

He said that a notice had also been issued to the Sindh government in this regard. Talking to media on Saturday, he said that the former government was supplying additional electricity to the metropolis.

He said that electricity tariff had not been changed for those who consumed up to 300 units.
