I think, @Ussaid must be young or 17 years old, he just screaming without much of knowledge.

@Horus, did we arrest Maulana Fazlullah who claimed to attack more after Peshawar?

It could also mean that Muslims are more horny. Whats wrong with having sex?

Bro, do you even Islam? Nothing wrong with watching videos of humans having sex with donkeys....

Funny how I am the stupid one, despite you yelling about economy and stuff without even realizing what the point of the topic is: A secular state

Maybe it is time to abandon our status as the "Islamic" "Republic" of Pakistan, and return to our secular roots which were planned by the fathers of the nation. Pakistan was created because Jinnah and co were afraid that in a Hindu dominated Country, there would always be episodes of violence and disagreement between the two chief religions, as Muslims of India had grown to become an almost different culture. Thus Pakistan was created so that the Muslims and Hindus can live in peace alone. Pakistan was created because the Muslim League felt the new "Hindus"tan would not be secular enough, not because it wouldn't be "Islamic" enough. Do we want to end up like the Middle East?

Also, it is embarrassing how many people believe in ridiculously stupid Jewish conspiracy theories, and hate Jews so much without having ever having seen one in their entire lives. Can a mature, mentally healthy human being actually believe such far fetched stories? Is this the result of one or two generations of cousin-cousin breeding? The reality is every year hundreds, if not thousands of non-Muslims are persecuted and harassed all along the country, but our sympathies are only for Palestine and non-existent dead Muslims in Burma and India. Isn't it ridiculous how people in Pakistan want women to "cover" themselves up, yet Google confirms the most number of pornographic searches are from Pakistan. Google also confirms that South Asia ranks the highest in bestiality searches.

Now people are going to be blame me for having such a negative view of my home country, but I am telling the truth, and even if the truth is not something that was told to us through biased text books. Media doesn't report such incidents because they are more focused on who Imran Khan wants to sleep with, and they don't have time for a family of murdered Ahmaids, Shias, Chrisitans, Hindus, etc. But of course it is all Mossad's, RAW's and CIA's fault, because they have so much time and resources to waste on us. (Well, RAW is an exception I guess. They all have the time in the world for their little Eastern Sibling)

P.S Removing it won't really affect the economical or the political situation. It would improve the social condition.

Majority of Pakistanies take it as Islamic Republic. you have all the right to think what ever you want.. You are another example of Islamic Republic that every one have right to write what ever he or she wants..i dont blame you, People have done terrible things to even Prophets so its just a Islamic Republic..

your argument is strong in way that most of Pakistani put blame on enemy agencies where its clearly their work to control before damages. but no one that low in Pak that they actually imagin who will sleep with who.

Despite all the negativities there are alot of good work is going on in Pakistan instead of you wasting your energy on somthing its no in your control.. so just look positivity around you if you actually live in Pakistan.. you will find peace and love in Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

You might be able to find peace in a place where just a few kms away Ahmadis are burned alive in their houses. I don't. ANd yeah, open up the news and everyone's talking about Imran Khan's marriage, which is basically the same thing. (Marriage = Sex in Desi Countries)

World's richest state in terms of Per Capita Income is Qatar and is very much a religious state. States like UAE, KSA, Brunei have state religions are not only growing and prospering but competing with the rest of the world on HDI index rather favorably. Israel has the highest PhD rate per capita in the world and is a Jewish state. Germany and UK too have no strict segregation laws and are doing just fine. The argument that secularism brings prosperity is simply bogus.

Prosperity is a product of good governance, rule of law, availability of justice, fiscal discipline, education and ability to defend the country. I can list a number of secular states which have totally failed or even worse collapsed, one of them was USSR.

Your argument has so many loopholes which can be pointed out right away.

Qatar has about 13% of known global reserve of petroleum. As we know, petroleum is the chief driving factor of global economy in our times. With that amount of resources, it would rather surprising not to see a country prosper. However, did you know that Qatar has been ranked as one of the worst places for workers by International Trade Union Confederation ?

Saudi Arabia is also the same story.

These are not good economic models, as their economy is based on a singular precious raw material which is in high demand. The economy is based on wastage. A good model will promote re-use, will open up other facets of development and reduce reliance on a single source. You want an example ? Look at China or US. If land area is a matter of concern, then take a look at Japan.

Israel has a high number of PhDs. Now does that have anything to do with religion ? They don't get their PhDs by reading the religious scriptures. Look at the other instances, Canada or Japan. None of them can be termed as overtly religious.

Your most ridiculous example was that of USSR. Did USSR collapse because it was a secular state ? Taking it other way around, according to you, having a single religion will give rise to unity as a state, right ? Then answer me this, why there are so many Arab countries ?Islam was founded there, they have the religion in common, and they even have language in common, which is a far greater binding factor than religion, in my opinion. So, why so many Arab countries ?
Getting back to USSR ? Do you understand what Perestroika and Glasnost is ?

You are drawing wrong inferences all along which are totally out of context.

If one needs to look what real development is, then take a look at how the Western European countries did it or how Japan did it. France, Germany, UK, Poland, all of them were totally devastated after the Second World War, their economies ruined. In economics lessons you will find examples of inflation in Germany after First World war and Second World war. But all of them emerged out of that crisis and created a process for holistic development. This development is not based on a single natural resource that one country has in abundance and the other has none.

Pakistan (West Pakistan) was Muslim majority secular region with Muslim governments before islamisation and than partition. :pop:
