Let me ask you something. Would you say that Russian Muslims keep Russian names and speak Russian? Would you say that Malay Muslims keep Malay names and speak Malay? Would you say that Iranians keep Parsi names and speak Farsi? Would you say that Thai Muslims keep Thai names and speak Thai? Would you say that Indonesian Muslims keep Indonesian names and speak Indonesian? Would you say that American Muslims keep American names (they really do) and speak English?
Cultural factors such as language do not play any role in Islam at all. It was not the use of Arabic that was the issue, it was The Message.
