As for the 'failed' airstrike, the day before in Balakot only a few trees were killed so these 6 airstrikes were done just for shits and giggles to teach India a lesson. That's why in the footage released by PAF you can see the pilot move the H-4 SOW away from the target to an empty field on purpouse.
