I think it quite interesting that the world does not even question the great famines in British India , many of which killed millions of people in British India from the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Millions dead in these administration-linked humanitarian catastrophes. But because Britain was one of the winners of WW2, such grievances are swept under the rug. Why is it that Japan , which was guilty of killing Chinese civilians, are the only ones being maligned ? If we are to refer to humanitarian injustices, should we not refer to all instances of human rights abuses?
