Say Syloti and Urdu spoken side by side. It's more likely you would comprehend more Urdu than Syloti although you are not an Urdu speaker.
Once again validate the fact Urdu was correct language for East Pakistan but that is another topic to discuss.
Urdu is easier than Sylheti for me. And Hindi is easier than Urdu.
Because we dont come to much interaction with Sylheti dialect. As I see @Turbo posting more and more in Sylheti. Its getting easier for me. Within 30 days I may be fluent in Sylheti.
