A homecoming gone so horribly wrong

The only wrong with the above statement is that they are "rogue"....
They are pakistani security people involved in helping to liberate these people from indian oppression.

They are not rogues.

They are worse than rogues as are the rogues like Mehsud in NWFP!

If that helps!

I don't know which side you are on, but I have a feeling that you are rooting for the fundamentalists. If so, Mehsud is a long lost brother to you!

He and his ilk must be to you a salvation purifying Pakistan from infidel influences !

.
I didnt say he did. But he's the current PM of india and every policy has his influence whether its the media or anything else. He seems to be quite anti pakistan these days specially when he's seeing a possibility of destabilizing pakistan utilizing the full potential of the current political unstability. And so the media represent him and his government how they think about pakistan.

Indian PM is very pro-peace. He has publicly stated that a stable Pakistan is in India's interests.

I have no clue whether or not indian agencies are involved in Pakistan. If they are, then its a very big mistake on their part.
If Pakistan loses this war, it will be India's turn to face the jihadi music.

Similarly, Pakistani involvement in destabilizing India since independence is not good for anyone.

I'm assuming you have heard of game theory. Cooperation is always better than distrust.

Indian media hasn't changed its stance on Pakistan just because the PM has changed. Its completely Independent and rarely echoes the govt.

Most articles I read always tear the government apart. This is enough to prove the independence of the media imo.
Also, Indian media is too vast and diverse to be simply controlled by govt. agencies.

Why don't they concentrate on liberating their own people from oppression, and then think about liberating the foreigners?:what:

please study the statements made by ur politicans at the time of independance. who cutoff the water of the canals. who block Pakistani Assets. who kill thousands of innocent Muslims at the time of independance. ur leaders oply made statements that Pakistan could not run more. please see a mirror then give such a statements.

Indian policitians didn't kill Pakistanis at the time of Independence. The people themselves killed each other. It was a sad time and no particular group of people can be held responsible, except perhaps the British.

Are you simply ignoring all the hindus who were also massacred?r

Are you ignoring all the water sharing treaties signed between the countries, which India never violated?

Indian politicians did not expect Pakistan to survive.
In fact, Indian policitians didn't even want Pakistan to exist.
But it did.
Now its 60 years down the line.
Don't echo statements made 60 years back. Stop living in history.

Frankly, if I was alive at the time, even I wouldn't have expected it too. But it has, despite all odds.

Even India was supposed to disintegrate within the first 20 years, according to the British. Did it?

I mean comeon, how can you be so obviously blinkered?

Its like picking up a coin and saying...."Hmm, this coin has has just one side, since I can't see the other one".

Rana,

It would be better if you address facts.

Heard of the Indus Water treaty?

Was the waters denied even during the Wars?

so, don't just talk for the sake of talking.

If Indian did, I sure would be interested in knowing so.

I would also appreciate to know which Indian politician did not expect Pakistan to survive! And do be kind to give a link.

indus traty was signed in 60s. it was not signed at the time of independence. yes u close the canals at the time of independance. and what about junagadh & Manavadar which were the first state who joined Pakistan but u occupied them to date.

The breaking up of Pakistan is being sold as an achievement by Indian politicians. Isn't it obvious that everyone will scramble to take the credit?

Now Sonia Gandhi's utterly useless slob of a son, who deserves nothing more than to be made a sweeper, decides to make this enlightening statement. Bravo.

Don't blame India for what happened with Bangladesh. You all know how the Bengalis were getting the short end of the stick there. It was a stupid idea in the first place, to have 2 parts of the country separated by thousands of Kms, that too over hostile territory. If you gotta blame someone, blame the British. Othewise kindly accept the fact that the Pakistanis were not exactly treating the Bengalis like royalty.

All India did was facilitate the movement that was already in full flow. At that time, any sane leader would do the same.

All that is past. It is not advantageous for either India or Pakistan to undergo any breaking up. It will only destabilize the region further.

If Indian did, I sure would be interested in knowing so

ferozpur headworks and madho pur headworks on river Ravi and River satluj were located in indian side but the canal system were located in pakistan. on april 1948 india cutoff water in these canals with out any prior information.

represents U.K education & lack of knowledge about history of the subcontinent.

India has violated many parts of those treaties and continues to do so. Wasn't it just last year that Pakistan had to go to international because India was violating a part of those treaties by building a dam.

Its like picking up a coin and saying...."Hmm, this coin has has just one side, since I can't see the other one".

Indians are that same way...
