It was Gandhi that brought religion into the independence movement.

Kindly elaborate how Gandhi facilitated religious division. It will be interesting to know how you reached a conclusion totally contrary to what the rest of the world believes.

Jinnah didn't believe that hindus and muslims could coexist. He was the one who said that there are "two separate nations within India". So logically he was the first one
(during that period of independence of course) to create distrust between the two religions.

I don't mean to insult the man of course, he was a great leader and nation builder. Unfortunately, I feel he made a mistake at the time by not trusting the congress.

Don't get me wrong. I am not one of those who dream of akhand bharat etc...

india did nothing in it, neither did it train MB nor did it supply weapons to them & never did it history it attack favour of MB on Pakistan. Right, & if the right was not give to BD then it was Pakistan's internal matter, Who the hell was India to interfare in it. this shows how peacefull india is(See the reality, you will keep saying that i have saw a cow flying that doesent mean it have.)
