A Black Woman Wrote A Letter About The Racism She’s Faced For Being A Bollywood Fan

I'm not able to pick up on social subtlety, I'll admit that as a child I was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, and my father was diagnosed in adulthood with the same cognitive disorder after I was.

I'm convinced that this genetic disorder has given me a significant advantage above and beyond my peers. This disorder basically means that I have no complex emotional sentiments, I am able to identify patterns in highly complex matters and draw unbiased conclusions that are logically sound, however so morally, or ethically unacceptable they may be.

It probably goes without saying I have had lots of people in various different situations who are independent of each other, call me a psychopath, savage, and other similar terms, (to whom I never informed them about my condition). I am convinced that this condition is a genetic advantage to my children in terms of maintaining wealth and choosing a partner, which trickles down to all the other advantages.
what you consider attractive should be left to individuals..some might like dark skin.. some light.. some might not care about physical beauty at all and look for other traits...
In case of India, yes, most find lighter skin color attractive.. (including me).. I dont think you can force people to choose.. however we are billion plus people, enough diversity to intermingle. I would take away other societal barriers like caste and religion before questioning individual preference.

Delusion and hate has blinded you! Anyways good luck with that attitude in life!
Here are some facts to help you out of your delusion and fallacies.
*) In 2010, India's whitening-cream market was worth $432m, according to a report by market researchers ACNielsen, and was growing at 18% per year.
*) In 2012, Indians reportedly consumed 233 tonnes of skin-whitening products, spending more money on them than on Coca-Cola.
*) Cricket players and Bollywood stars regularly endorse these products.

Its a well known fact that you guys have inferiority complex about your skin color, Damn even the the international media is talking about it. You Indians have to realize this, and need to get out of this delusion of yours that you are different than Africans as far as skin color is concerned. You guys need to embrace the fact that you are as black as Africans (maybe more) and as soon as possible.

You need to follow in the footsteps of this brave black Indian like yourself.

Lighter or darker has to be in reference to something, we could establish an albino as that reference however it is difficult to describe here.

Whilst I wouldn't want an albino, I wouldn't want someone that is overly dark, with a lighter skin you're able to see skin disorders more clearly and dismiss certain partners, although you run an enhanced risk of disease.
However more than skin tone, I would place a majority of the weight that around 90% or higher on the figure (fat %) and vulnerability to diseases. I would never have children with a partner whose had acne, it is a disgusting revolting disease.

Warped logic: "Men love women, be it in any shape or form." But Indians only go for white or Chinese, but not dark skinned Southeast Asian? LOL, The truth is Indian looked up to Chinese race. The more you spin it the other way, the more it shows your complex.

More warped logic. If it is not racism, why would dark skinned Indian wanna be lighter? The reason is obsession with skin color. This is why Ms America Indian-origin, she's from good social-econ background, is still deemed as unfitting because she is simply too dark.

You are wrong .
Honestly it seems a bitter truth to you .But this is the reality .Some (a minority) have obsession about Europeans it is not only because of their white skin but also perfect facial feature .
But when it comes to Chinese like @Roybot said Indians really looked down on you .Especially because of the nose and eyes .
And any one having flat nose will ridiculed by his/her friends and call names 'Chinese nose' etc .

compared to rest of population I mean.. not compared to alibino... hypothetically if there are two girls, everything else being same, fair skin girls will be considered more attractive in India..
nice to know your preference.. its cool to have your own preference... you dont have to prove that it has some evolutionary advantage... :)

look down upon is a stretch... I have never been to china but I find chinese actresses attractive...
one of the possible reason why american Indians pair up with chinese is, may be white girls dont like us, and we dont like black girls... its not like there are tonnes of options.

What you said contradict the reality, Indian men go ga-ga over Chinese girls. Indian love Chinese culture, movie, music and food....Many are even taking Chinese lesson in schools.

As I said, the more you spin it the other way, the more it shows your inferiority complex. LOL.
