Not all Muslims are a security risk, just the ones that refuse to follow the law and disrupt & threaten the lives of other people. People in the West now know how to do protests properly - apply for a permit, the local civic authorities and law enforcement determine whether or not the proposed location is feasible for a protest depending on the estimated size of the protest and whether other people will be inconvenienced, and clear rules are laid out in terms of what the protesters can and cannot do.

From a financial standpoint it is a good move. The government should not be subsidizing unnecessary, non-productive activities. Subsidizing industry or crops or inputs into the industrial and agricultural sector makes sense but subsidizing Hajj is pointless - there is no return on investment and therefore it is just wasted taxpayer money.

Mmm no. But the question is should state provide subsidy to someone who's saving is below Nisab so they can inturn pay zakat, which is a pillar of Islam just like hajj, after receiving that subsidy? More subsidy above nisab would mean more zakat!
