its not china specific, . Because with reduced pay load (800kgs-600kgs)Agni 3 covers the whole of Asia, in fact Agni-2 covers more than half of China. We already posses an ICBM.

Agni V is only technology demonstration. The only use of SL-ICBM is , It multiplies your second strike capability. You can hit any target from any corner of the world without being getting targeted.

**What we need now is Submarine Launch Technology and MIRved Missiles. It will enhance our Second Strike Capability.

The team is also working overtime to ensure there are no quality control issues that have dogged two previous tests under the Agni programme. By November, the first missile should be complete in all respects for its first flight test, though a comprehensive routine of subsystem tests will continue till the end of the year. With the February test, the Agni-III completed its routine of tests and is now ready for induction into India's nuclear force structure.
