Not really. Not much you can do when you get attacked out of nowhere on an isolated military post. 3 years ago ( or 2 , don't remember) , Maoists killed 24 CRPF troops in a landmine blast. That doesn't mean they are powerful or something. Just means they were lucky enough to plant a landmine at a good spot.

Agree BUT no one thinks of such observation when cases are seldom Here the situation is a continuous thing in pak where one of the biggest armies in the world is looking like mouse not cat .

The problem is of narrative that only non muslims are enemy of pakistan which is creating the difference . How could they tell to go over out to the same people who cry "allahu akbar" like they themselves do ?

Elite pakistani troops are operating on Afghan border also, senior members have revealed here.

Out of curiosity I'd like to know in a professional , voluntary army aside from Special Forces ( who in any case are not meant for tasks regular units can do) who are the Elite soldiers and who are the non- elite ?

Latest reports say that 9 Soldiers,10 Civilians and 12 Militants were killed in the assault.

Surely you don't include the number of terrorists who died carrying out these attacks in the final death count? This isn't the norm for such incidents.
