3 Hamas fighters killed in an unprovoked air attack

Unprovoked? As I posted in the other thread (which should be merged as they deal with the same sequence of events imo):

You're a funny dude Hazzy.
13 October Israel discovers a massive tunnel breaching Israel- Gaza border, the tunnel is found in the fields of a village directed from Gaza to the village, not one of the many military out posts along the border.
Hazzy praises the Palestinians. No word of rebuke against the clear violation of the border which is an act of aggression.

and I quote Hazzy from the relevant thread:

They could only find a few during the whole year...they don't know of the many other ones.

There are more though and they will keep building more.

I know, the IDF themselves have said this is the most advanced tunnel they've ever seen anywhere. And they still don't know there is more than this.

In the whole thread there is not one word of rebuke against the many acknowledged breaches of the border.

recent events:

October 27 At 1:15 PM, Palestinians fired 2 rockets into the Eshkol Regional Council.
October 2 Around 5 AM Palestinians fired 2 rockets into Hof Ashkelon Regional Council and to Ashkelon (a city of 120,000 population).
As response to the last rocket attack the IAF attacked 2 rocket launchers in Gaza.
Yesterday: Israel acts against the tunnels that breach the Israeli-Gaza border, for this IDF in turn breaches the border.
Hazzy logic - Israel is the aggressor, judge for yourself.

Satellite image of the area, no blurred area's point that there are no military bases there. Contrary to Palestinian lies.

Sorry to say but Palestine is the only country which has fucked up ME and retard like you are the one who pelt stones or fire rockets on Israel.

Lol thats a new one. There are a lot of factors that have led to the fucking up of the ME but the existence of the Palestinian people in their own homeland is most definitely not one. If anything, its the emergence of European and North American Zionists into Palestine that is one of the major reasons behind the instability in the ME.

I don't mean to be a 3rd fighter in a boxin match, but it's not the first time (by far) that i've heard israel-supporters complain about utterly counterproductive violence organized and executed by some palestinians.

And yes, I agree both sides in the I-P conflict have made many mistakes since Israel was created. But I also strongly believe that the only real question that'll prevent more suffering (when answered with 'yes'), is: are you willing to teach YOUR OWN culture about THEIR past mistakes, and HOW NOT TO REPEAT THEM, especially not for the rest of eternity, as might happen when you believe those corrupt(=extremist!) priests groups that are active within Islam....

There's a very very important lesson I learned when muslims first challenged me to the legitimacy of western arguments against muslim extremists; can you believe what you're told all your life? I'll gladly admit there's plenty of periodicallly-repeated propaganda in the news that I grew up with here in north-western EU as well.. Once you know that a lie that is repeated to you in convincing tones and often enough, tends in the vast majority of humans to be accepted as truth, sooner or later. But, once you realize that 'bug' in human brains is real and can lead you to severely corrupted acts (thus decreasing your chances of ACTUALLY getting into the Heaven you want by incurring negative Karma points), you can EASILY COUNTER IT, by reading the news with 'a bag of salt'(=much scepticism), not just your opponent's news outlets, but your own culture's newsoutlets AS WELL.

I don't get it if the Israel Offensive Forces just wanted to destroy the tunnel , how they need so much tanks inside Gaza strip , just send a demolition group fill the tunnel with charges and press the red button end of stories , what's the need for sending forces inside Gaza .

That's what they're saying they did. And according to them Hamas caught them by surprise and detonated an explosive.

At the same time they're claiming mortar fire was what injured their troops.

That's not the situation where the first death occurred. The first death was when to Hamas stationary fighters inside Gaza who were not close in distance to Israeli tanks were targeted because they had anti tank weapons. It's known if that's a rpg or what. That shouldn't have happened. It's their job to be along the border during night time.

And then the other incident shouldn't have occurred either. A few hours later they targeted 3 Hamas fighters in an air attack.

They shouldn't cross the border if they don't want to be penalized for it but that doesn't stop the cowards come from calling in massive air support like the little babies they are provoking a conflict.

coz a demolition team without heavy backup makes a juicy target for palestinian fighters?

- أعلنت كتائب الشهيد عز الدين القسام ، الذراع العسكري لحركة حماس أنها كشفت جزءا مهما من منظومة التجسس التي يستخدمها الاحتلال ضد المقاومة.

Hamas is claiming Israel tried placing a spy device in Khan Younis. I'm not sure if that's the right word. I'm not familiar with this Arabic word.

I think they're saying they detected part of a spy network or system.

accurate spying prevents wars and (extensive) suffering.... :)

Even operations near the border on the Israeli part receive heavy backup. Crossing the border without backup is suicidal.

Interesting how in the Tunnel thread you claimed that there are many Palestinian tunnels breaching the border into Israel, consider the airstrike the beginning of the penalty for that, Since you believe that crossing the border should cause penalty. 2 of those killed in the air strike were tunnel specialists, the other a rocket specialist.

in other news:

at about 19:00 a Palestinian rocket was shot against Eshkol regional council.

It is unknown the true number but it isn't vast. Maybe be anywhere from 3-30. We don't know and most likely it's a low number. The tunnels are effective for a shorter war, Hamas doesn't want to get into war at all. But, as the military wings job and profession they must be prepared at all times to deal with all threats.

And this includes building tunnels to use in case an wide scale offensive occurs. Of course Israel has the right to destroy tunnels on their side. I'm not arguing about justification. But, the Palestinian military factions will do what's necessary to modify their tactics to prevent a one sided conflict. What you believe is just is thrown out the window once we come to an conclusion we are the only people who protect our people and protection is through deterrence not defensive weapons because those military organizations can't acquire many weapons if even considering high quality defensive weapons. And this deterrence is known by me and you. It's to end an conflict as soon as possible, not to actually deter israelis overwhelming military capabilities.

Now, with this situation, it's unclear what exactly happened. But, tanks crossing into Palestinian territory won't be tolerated or what they believe is crossing lines.

It doesn't matter who was killed, yeah they are military specialists, that doesn't justify killing them hours after the clash.

And that little 107mm rocket was fired in response and was probably aimed at an open area purposefully. Big deal. It's not outrageous to respond.

So when Palestinians build perhaps even as many as 30 tunnels breaching the border of Israel it's ok.
But Israel may only act on it's side of the border in turn? Can't you see how biased this is?
Building a tunnel that can transport dozens of combatants just outside of two Israeli villages putting the lives of hundreds in immediate danger (and this is just one of the many tunnels) is very much past the line.

You are saying that a defensive only tactics will not work yet you expect Israel to sit idly while you build dozens of tunnels into and near our villages and towns?

But thank you for permitting us to destroy the military tunnels you dig into our territory on our soil.
