Let me say this categorically that if India was capable of doing so, they would have done so ages ago. But sadly the Vedic powers are not at a substantial level yet.
lol...dont get me started at our "vedic powers".
india was able to do that on 71, but refrained from doing that as it had more pressing concerns regarding "international opinion".
and furthermore, if we had finished u, whom wud we blame for our gastronomic inconveniences ? (raed pigeons from ISI).

.
Yes but you should also look at the ratio of numbers shown in that movie. Does India enjoy the same proportional advantage?

Yes, the British thinktank Royal Institute of International Affairs made the assertion based entirely on that claim.

Yes it is a thinktank..so what is it basing its analysis on??

Pakistan has never won any wars against India...lets say, we attribute it to India's numerical superiority.

But even in individual battles, where Pakistan has had numerical superiority..it has lost..many a times.

So what is this analysis based on??

I love it when a smaller guy gives the bigger guy a fight.

India with all the "advantages" couldn't do it and now that Pakistan has nukes, It's too late to play the bully role.

.
This has always been the case. Even with superior conventional wars, india has struggled against Pakistan, only 71 when separated by thousands of miles of hostile territory.

US, NATO, Brits Aussies, regularly train with both us and the veggies, and according to all the ones I have talked to over the years, they are always pleasantly surprised about the quality of both our soldiers and officers.

One particular occasion was talking to a SEAL Officer, and a highly decorated SAS veteran in Oz - they had both interacted with our boys - and come to view them with high praise, independently of one another.

The SAS guy was so impressed - I quote "Brilliant bunch of fighters, put them up with tier 1 NATO soldiers - never thought a developing country could produce rifleman like that, outside NATO.

High praise indeed.
didnt u ask about the indians ????? :(:(:(

May be in 2002, India has also come a long way from then. Also there are instances where IA was at a numerical disadvantage and still managed to win. PA are some good fighters no doubt about it, but underestimating IA is sheer foolishness because all the wars fought IA might have struggled but they have won every time, PA might win some battles but IA wins the war.. .Anyways i think what the think tank meant by quality was command and control, structure. logistics etc. IA is huge ant the C&C is not very streamlined but now it is has changed rapidly, Op Parakram indeed thought the army top brass a lesson. Now PA has also grown a lot especially with all those experience at constant war that they have gained with respect to India. India also has gained experiences but not at the same level of PA. Any future war will the end of South Asia. I hope both sides are sane enough to not do that.

.
But you can't win a war without better quality soldiers. Look at what is happening in Iraq, Iraqi army vastly outnumbers ISIS but are yet routed repeatedly.

That's the most one dimensional view if I have ever seen one...

Wars can be won by starving an opponent...economically bankrupting one, technologically overpowering one, politicallly isolating one...I can name a ton others...

Point is, you are falling into the trap of the martial races theory...a self fulfilling prophecy created exactly for the reason to place foolish bravado within individuals of a community..
Mind you..Im not discounting the quality of soldier argument...but it wont alone win you wars..

two things which will remain, whatever be the future.........
-- india can never f**k pak ever (now that it has nuclear bombs in every stationary shop)
-- even thoh india can do $**t, pak will always be paranoid of india..........

likh ke le lo

.
Actually the report says the exact opposite..
A short term scrap is what favors Pak in this analysis..
Yeah and Pakistan can't fight a war beyond a certain period of time and just for that Pakistan has to undertake steps to ensure it's survival if a war exceeds Pakistani war fighting capacity.

.
And this was before the war fighting experience gained in Swat and Waziristan....
The quality of the average Pakistan infantryman both interms of skill and equipment has only increased in the last decade !

Yet their respective countries would bet their vegas dollars on India in every faceoff...

Also..define "struggled against Pak"

.
Heights of optimism. They took one and the only sentence in the report that was in favor of PA, twisted it by dropping qualifiers like "some" and "might" and made it sound like there was any hope for PA to stand against IA. And, then they published the whole report!!! They must have known that no pakistani worth his salt will read the report after seeing the headline (because he would be high like a kite after seeing words "PA high quality than IA").

.
The only thing wrong in Pakistan is presence of corrupt & traitor politicians.

Well for one,

A better navy..The longer your sea lanes remain open, the harder you can sustain..

Larger oil reserves...but thats a whole different topic with too many factors inter twined..

Lastly, build the strongest of relations with Iran..They are the only ones that can truly help you in a war...
Unfortunately Indian knows this and gives Iran a special berth in its relationship...strategically and tactically..

. .
I see after andhra mirchi the pakistanis have rushed to get the psychological cool aid.
What ever helps you sleep at night my friends
