What's new

150 Afghans deported after cricket riots.

To hell with all of you. We Punjabis will just chill with GB bros for the time being. Apparently, most of them are not ingrateful pricks like you lot and actually want to be Pakistanis.

You're no different than those people who you are criticising for wanting independent states. And, for the record, it's the central Punjabis that caused a lot of the corruption mess next to Zardari-controlled Sindh in Pakistan today. They are one of the biggest sellouts to the west while western Pakistan had to bare more of the brunt from the war on terror. Do you not recall the inroots that the Sharifs have within central Punjab?

Pakistan is feeding them for 30 years and is still......

10 countries that host the most Afghan refugees

1. Pakistan: 1,503,822
2. Iran: 778,054
3. Germany: 203,373
4. Turkey: 140,709
5. France: 59,484
6. Austria: 48,285
7. Greece: 37,685
8. Sweden: 29,386
9. Italy: 17,936
10. Switzerland: 16,560

Turkey's crawling up the list rather fast and the people there are not tolerating them 1% of what we are.

had
thankfully not now- they are hated in Lahore, the heart of CP
Even with a rigged election, PMLN was routed out of CP

My family voted PMLN for decades because PPP was worse than them not because anyone liked em per se- Now I hope and believe the PMLN era is finished as long as the establishment stops playing their games

Give it a rest, Socrates. We are Pakistani citizens, voters, tax payers. Every time we criticize our own, we do it because we are concerned or dismayed about the state of affairs and would like a better Pakistan. Not because we want to chop it up, take our favorite chunks and burn the rest to the ground. And why would you deport Pakistanis to Afghanistan?
OK Villageidiot, an apt id you have. How do you know the Afghans who criticize Pakistan don't pay taxes? If Pakistanis wanted a better Pakistan then they would have had one by now but they haven't, which means the Afghans can bitch with their Pakistani brethren.

.
I agree with how you characterize the offense. But I sympathize with the Afghan diaspora because of how their country has been ruined by constant wars from past few decades. If you can read recent news articles about Afghanistan's economy, you'll see that these people have no hope for prosperity in their home country. So the gravity of deportation as a punishment is much heavier on Afghans than it is on a Pakistani or Indian. :undecided:
The responsibility lies with the Afghan ppl as to why their country is where it is. If they had gotten their act together...they could've prospered. They started off in a much better position than India/Pak(at the onset of 1947 and onwards). Today they stand where they stand bcuz of their own collective actions. So while one could feel sorry for one individual depending on his/her situation...one shouldn't feel sorry for the whole nation.

As for "forgiving" unruly behavior bcuz deporting them back to their country would suck for them...oh well they should've thought of their precarious situation before acting like that. I live in SoCal(southern California) and from time to time I come across illegal Mexicans...u should see how they live here. They put up with ppl's shit...they get taken advantage of...they get abused...and yet they still abide by every law possible and live a cautious life in constant fear of being caught and deported.

I once came across a Mexican guy who was living here illegally...he was hired for construction work as a laborer...given some cash in advance...then paid by the day...and the remaining sum to be given once the job is done. He worked as asked for the duration...on the last day of work...he was given the money for that day and told to come back tomorrow to collect the remaining dues. He went back the next day...only to find the contractor was nowhere to be found. He wasn't the only one who was screwed over like this...there were about a dozen other such illegal laborers hired along with him...all of them were screwed over like that and that's on top of already paying them below the minimum wage. These guys were definitely deserving of that money...they had more than earned it. I know how hot summers get in that part...and they did hard work(construction work) in that summer heat daily...
...did they pick a fight? Break/burn stuff? Their anger would've been definitely justified. They couldn't even go to the police or get justice through any other means. The contractor abused them bcuz he could...and they just put up with it silently bcuz they knew that they had mouths to feed back home.

I'd congratulate the irony in my username for escaping you but that's a very low bar and frankly, not a surprise at all.

So, Afghans in Pakistan pay their taxes, that means we must allow them to beat up Pakistanis every other day. Since, we really need that cash, ngl.

Out of curiousity, do you know the difference between being a citizen and being a tax-payer. Foreign companies like MacDonalds pay taxes when they work in Pakistan. Should we also allow them to vote and partake in the political process? A citizen has that right, a tax-payer doesn't. Apparently, I should take a quiz for gauging the thickness of people's brains before employing a rhetorical device.

So, if Pakistanis are criticizing the state of their country, we should let afghans, gangus, martians and their grandmas to do so too? Let's all talk shit about Namibia or Mali etc since frankly, could have done better.

I suppose you're too thick to get the point I raised, but I'll repeat it, read my lips: Pakistanis' resentment and dismay stems from their want to see a better Pakistan. Afghans aren't beating Pakistanis after losing a cricket match and removing our flag from aid trucks NOT because of their want to see a better Pakistan.

Now this is what I will call a speedy Justice . Sad part is that they will all be deported to Pakistan the very country they hate …. They should be airdropped over Kabul.

Well, deporting all the rabid dogs to Pakistan is the best way for sweet justice to be served to them all, individually.

They hate Pakistan and they manhandled/terrorized Pakistanis; now we will have the time and opportunity to deal with them.

.
Way to miss the point Einstein. If my foot long message lacked any indications, let me just say I was talking about nationalism and not corruption. But, apparently I seem to have stuck a raw nerve with you. Let me unpack your learned response slowly, so you can follow along.

You're no different than those people who you are criticising for wanting independent states.
Care to explain? I am all ears.

And, for the record, it's the central Punjabis that caused a lot of the corruption mess next to Zardari-controlled Sindh in Pakistan today.
I genuinely think, you posted this on the wrong thread as not once did I indicate that punjabis were saints.

They are one of the biggest sellouts to the west while western Pakistan had to bare more of the brunt from the war on terror.
I am really sorry about that. Next time, USA rolls around the block, we punjabis will shift our tectonic plate and move over to western Pakistan. Or we can at least petition them to go the extra mile and bomb Punjab as well for equality and whatnot.

Do you not recall the inroots that the Sharifs have within central Punjab?
What does this have to do with my point?

Lol yeah right, what did you achieve with the opportunity and time you had to handle the likes of Ali Wazir or Mohsin Dawar?

Afghans being deported to Pakistan is the best thing they could have asked for instead of being directly sent to Afghanistan

So what, a lot of Pakistanis talk ill of Pakistan , are you going to deport them too to Afghanistan?-"Afghans openly talk ill of Pakistan "
Dude whatever you smoke, inject or sniff please stop it. You are already living in another metaverse.

I have good news for you. The extremely tajarba-kar lot has put Mohsin Dawar head of an NA committee. The foreign affairs committee, no less. You know, foreign affairs? The "jalte hn jibreel (read: civilians) ke par jis muqam par" domain. We'll now you finally have a competent and able civilian heading that. So congratulations, task failed successfully.

Idk why I found that choice of word particularly amusing.

But for real bro, let him do it. My online battling skills have been rusting for 8 years. Need some oiling and target practice :D . I've been lurking here since 2018 and have manage to abstain but with the current shitshow, I needed to let it all the aggression out of my system.

Side note: You are one of the few members here whom I find very sensible. So, it's nice to get a complement from you. Thanks

Imagine going home to tell your families that their only way of making a good living is gone because of throwing chairs during a cricket match.
Rather, tell their families that they were deported because they were being bit**** and biting the hands that have fed and sheltered their generations.

Lol yeah right, what did you achieve with the opportunity and time you had to handle the likes of Ali Wazir or Mohsin Dawar?

What has Ali Wazir or Mohsin Dawar done? And aren't both of them Pashtun?

Its common for sports fans to get into over enthusiastic fights. Deporting people for these type of incidents is a bit harsh. Hope that the people caught will be let go with a warning.
Sports violence should stop and apparently the UAE is doing something about it.
