Tejas flight control airframe safety mission computers and all round interface is generation ahead of the 1970s and 1980s era shortcoming iaf has today.

Tejas is a home made option. This will.morph into mark 2 and Amca one day
Building the infrastructure and blue print was th hardest part..
just like isro our first satalite launch was the hardest.. we now send 100 satalites on one rocket.

Problems? Such as limited range and payload of Tejas due to small size. Yes, major problem for Pakistan.....

You hit the nail on the head here mate. "Wait for"......

Everyone has been waiting and waiting. IAF has been waiting.

First flight of LCA was 20 years ago. MK1A has still not flown yet.

Trust me when I say all of PAF and PLAFF and indeed the forum is happy with the waiting.

As HAL is planning MK1A literally every other country on the planet is now looking at 5th/6th Gen.

Please give us more waiting....

But I think iaf will add 4-5 in 1 go this year. I don't know why they r not announcing anything.

Well, we are approaching November, not much of the year left, and no announcment on Tejas deliveries. Furtehrmore in the past HAL only delivered one jet at a time (to much fanfare and media coverage) so the chances of a late and big surprise Christmas present in the form of 5 new Tejas waiting to be be delivered may exit only in your imagination I am afriad.

So my guess is , it's going on but why no deliveries.i can't say as I have no inside info.

Believe what you want but DRDO/HAL have a very long history of making claims and announcing deadlines that they continually miss. The fact they have remained silent means matters may indeed be much worse then we imagibe.
