14 Iranian border guards killed by terrorists in Iran-Pak cross border attack

how come chief minister of the state is in the dark?? Why would he make a statement which is pro Indian?? Are you going to claim next that he is on the payroll of RAW??

I am saying he never said India is not involved in terrorism in Balochistan as you Indians are saying. He just said he doesn't have the proof. Both are two different things.

Of course AQ was around before 9/11. There was the US embassy bombings in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in 1998 and the suicide attack on the USS Cole in 2000 for example. They've also been attacks in Yemen and Saudi Arabia by AQ during the 1990s.

What exists today is a mass proliferation of AQ's ideology and emulation of their organization.

Jeish-al Adl may not be an 'official' AQ branch, but they have definitely absorbed the ideology, style and tactics - specifically suicide bombings - of the Wahhabis/Salafis that were behind the original AQ. As have many other Islamist movements since 9/11.

It is not as simple as you explain it. It takes much more than ideology... and as I said the ideology which you refer has no takers in Islamic world.

Only if you know... before 9-11 Pakistan had pushed US repeatedly to tell us what to do with OBL and US never agreed and used delay techniques, this was stated by our ISI chief of 1998.

Hope, you have also seen facts in movie 'Farenheit 9-11'

Ok then, someone wants to see both of our countries in mess and as the question is raised above, who is that (or who are they)? Can you name any country or groups?
Pakistan already is a mess that is why Iranian officials have been publicly airing their displeasure with Pakistan since 2007. It is 6 years ago now since i remember a Friday prayers sermon in Tehran of Ahmad Khatami criticizing Pakistan for being a terrorist sanctuary (his conmments were reported widely in the press). This was one of the first public statements by a regime official directly criticizing Pakistan (after bombings in Zahedan). Before that Iranian officials used to privately take up their issues with Pakistan. But failure to achieve any co-operation with them led to the public criticisms and there have been many ever since.

There is no foreign conspiracy to 'mess' with the two countries. There are foreign forces behind spreading alien Arabist-Salafism ideology to Baluch people of Iran, but the problem Iran has with Pakistan is because Pakistan's borders with Iran and Afghanistan are not being controlled and the vaccum is being filled with Taliban, criminals and all sorts of other terrorists and bandits.

See the articles i posted on the previous page of this topic. Iran already has an agreement with Pakistan for co-operating on border control and security. But the Pakistanis are weak and are either not interested to honor this agreement or are not capable of doing so. That is why Iran is still facing problems along the border with Pakistan of terrorism, drug smuggling and people trafficking / illegal immigration.

Given that there is already a pact between the two countries in place, there is now nothing left to do but down scale relations with Pakistan and militarize the Iranian side of the border, which is what is in fact happening.

Pakistani army is being paid over US$ 1 billion annually for many years now by the Americans to secure its western borders and eliminate Taliban and other criminals there from attacking Afghanistan. But instead, Taliban have taken over the border areas and now Iran has come under threat from the cross-border terrorism and absence of law and order in these places too. This is unnacceptable.

Very sad to hear some people in our brother country Iran reading the lines of india. Just think about it...mostly in Friday prayer sermons there is massive number of people of all age groups. If the Imam is accusing Pakistan for being a terrorist sanctuary then think about those people.

Both Pakistan & Iran have several enemies watching them from vulturous eyes. Pakistan nor Iran would gain anything accusing each other, both will loose if there is more mess in Balochistan region...the only way forward is to develop some kind of mechanism between military of Pakistan & Iran to crush the BLA-Jundalla terrorists once for all...

Some people needlessly accusing Pakistani Military & Intelligence Agencies...I wanna ask a simple question, Why on earth would Pakistan Military/Intel support these groups when Pakistan itself had problems in it's Balochistan Province? It will be a bloody nightmare for Pakistan & its security authorities if God Forbid Iran's Sistan-Balochistan becomes independent.

Don't take that Khatami guy seriously, he can officially be called an extremist mullah.

But a point needs to be told, that there is a difference between supporting those groups and not doing enough to prevent them. Imo, it't very very unlikely that ISI or the government is supporting them and it has no reason to do so, but I think with the powerful army that Pakistan has, it can do much better in Baluchistan region.

Actually you are 10 years too late trying to tell us there should be 'some kind of mechanism'. Iran already made an agreement with Pakistan to co-operate on border security, but Pakistan has done nothing other than sign the paper and try to divert our attention by blaming Indians or Afghans and making other lame excuses.

Even Ahmadinejad criticized Pakistan. Most of the top political and military officials in Iran have done so in public. Iranian people deserve to know why there is cross-border terrorism from Pakistan and this is why the frustration of Iranian officials with Pakistan has moved from private channels to the public and to the media, because Pakistan has consistently failed to co-operate with Iran to secure its side of the border even though they have agreed to it.

Everybody wants to know why Pakistan has allowed Taliban to take over Waziristan and other "tribal agencies" on its borders with Afghanistan and why there is no Pakistani control over its border areas with Iran. These are the questions that have been left unanswered for too many years now.

The Americans are paying the Pakistani army over US$ 1 billion annually to secure its western borders. But they havent done it. This is very strange and suspicious for us.

They are probably being sheltered and supported inside Pakistan by Lashkar e jhangvi terrorist group and Sepah Sahaba. Jhangvi group is behind all the attacks on Hazara Shi'a in Pakistani Balochistan over the past 2 or more years. They kill them in their homes and neighbourhoods with car bombs, suicide bombers, drive-by shootings.. and often attack pilgrim buses of Hazara travelling to Iran, killing the Shi'a passengers.

Sepah Sahaba and Jhangvi groups were behind the murder of Iranian diplomats Ganji in 1990, Rahimi in 1997, and killing of 6 Iranian air force cadets visiting Pakistan also in 1997.

Abdolmalek Rigi is known to have spent time in Karachi and had supporters there.

When Rigi was executed, there were demonstrations in Karachi against Iran and Pakistani people were burning Iranian flags (even tho they make the wrong flag) on the streets and holding posters praising Abdolmalek Rigi and Jondallah:

16 is not enough , They should have killed every single prisoner connected to the terrorists .

I think Iran should use the drones or air force to hunt them in Pakistan borders and even territory . Now that Pakistan can't control it's border they should allow Iran to secure the borders or have joint cooperation .

Actually I am not sure even there is a will in pakistan to stop this mess. It seems that Pakistani government use them to put pressure on Iran.

Pakistan government is guilty. Its guilt is, to not keep eye on the border or at the worst case, it would be helping those terrorists.
If you put your national sentiments aside and imagine yourself as an Iranian who sees this mess and reads comments of some Pakistanis like BATMAN who insult them, you would have a different judgment about what has happened.
